Some people have allergies but not as bad, I'm allergic to pineapple and shrimp but still eat shrimp when offered lol. The taste is better than any itching or small inflammation I get in my ears. Pineapple on the other hand is hell unleashed and it tastes like metal to me lol
I like takis I would not need water so I would get a whole bag big and eat it all and need water but most of the times I don’t need water when eating takis

My boyfriends mom came from Mexico and she said when she was really young, her mom couldn’t afford a cake so all she was able to get was a lollipop and she was even grateful for that. It really opens your eyes a lot when you hear stories like these
this mexican girl in my class was always seated next to me, but we hardly ever talked. we just kind of silently agreed that we were on good terms, after months of just existing together, y'know? anyways, she would, every single day, bring in takis. and damn, she became a taki dealer, meaning that she would give you 1 taki...for a price. and my class was legit addicted to takis, and would bend over backward for just one. my friends taught me ways to eat them slowly, so you could savor the flavor of just a single taki. my class legit wanted to snort taki dust. it was insanity. _but_ because we had an unspoken alliance, she would give me free takis. wherever you are miss taki dealer, thanks girl. you changed my life.
i remember my dad said when he was a kid he never experienced eating a cake. so whenever is my bday he make sures i get a very large cake its heart touching.
En México allá por los años 80's-90's la calidad de vida empezó a mejorar enormemente, pero antes de eso es común escuchar historias de nuestros papás o abuelos en situaciones que hoy en día aunque uno tenga poco dinero no pasaríamos. Cuando nos cuentan que de niños no pudieron tener una muñeca, un balón de fútbol, que iban a la escuela sin mochila y llevaban sus útiles en una bolsa de plástico, y bueno, aquí un clásico de aquellos tiempos que era tener un gansito o un pinguino como pastel de cumpleaños, mi papá nos contó una historia similar justamente con un pinguino 😓
That story about the pingiünos made me really sad and happy. We all been thru that struggle and our family always made sure we never felt bad and sacrificed so much to see us smile for even a second😔😭
My parents used to live in Mexico and they didn’t even celebrate their birthday or had a birthday cake because they were poor. But at least here in US we celebrate it know which is great because it makes them happy.

@@Mysticmoon62 oof last month I took that medicine pepto for upset stomach and I took it 3x. Second day i had rashes, skin turning red and like bloated and when I itch my skin it starts to hurt. I wonder if it's allergic but I stopped taking it. My skin felt like weird u know rashes and inflammation red and when I scratched you can see all the lines where I scratched lol. But worst feeling was my stomach it hurt badly and diarrhea. Pepto made it better anyways.
Lucy reminds of Indian mothers. The way she talks, the little taking in of air when it spicy and still continue talking. If she will wear sari there won't be telling any difference. I feel Mexican and Indian moms are very similar. Shout out to all our mothers. Love to all.

Same. When i was in mexico for 3rd grade...my last year i was to be there before coming to the USA. My friends bought like 3 or 4 packs in and stacked them up during recess with a candle. Didnt expect that at all and made me really emotional. My parents weren't the type to throw like big birthday parties so that was nice.

They make pills for people with peanut allergy that are literally a pinch of peanut inside a pill that you take and they increase your dose until you're no longer allergic. This must mean taking in tiny amounts of what your allergic to builds up your tolerance over time.
@@xx-bu1hx it works as a therapy for people with strong allergies to things that are common like dust etc. But in really small dosis and with a good control. Still you'll need to be checked constantly and it lasts years.
I'm Mexican and the foods that my mom and grandma makes are soo good. My grandmother made Tamales two days ago and they are delicious! And two hours ago, I had a coffee with Marias cookies with my sister and grandparents. Soo good. When you have a chance to try some Mexican food, try it.

I related to her the most. When I was 7 I remember my parents were having a really really tough time paying the Bill's and my birthday came around, I woke up in the morning and walked into the kitchen and saw a little Napolitano cake which if your not mexican is a little sweet bread covered in chocolate and and raisins inside, I saw it with a little candle on top and my parents with a bit of embarrassment on their faces I'd be lying if I said I didnt mind but i didnt show that expression on my face instead I smiled gave my parents a kiss on the cheek and preceded to eat the bread, A very cherished memory of mine.

@Rafael orozco because takis are spicy and that’s it, not much flavor really while most mexican food has more flavor that makes the spiciness more enjoyable and durable. I’m Mexican and my mom makes some good ass spicy salsa but I enjoy it as well because it tastes amazing, while I dislike hot Cheetos because I don’t feel much and it’s just a bunch of chemicals giving me the illusion a Mexican esk food
