A cliché but a real one: Life *IS* a journey. That you are [still] on one speaks volumes, and can say authentically that life well-traveled (pun intended) is not always sun in its full glory and roads paved smooth (imagine those whose journeys have "stopped," for one reason or other). Although you provide inspiration and aspiration for what are possible, esp. for what is now _female solo travelling,_ it is always important to mind your safety and well-being in all aspects. You're right about your choice: to show vulnerabilities and the unexpected that come with life and travels, and how one deals with these. Ending with another cliché in other words: it's not that you stumble, it's that you got up and continued. PS. The local scene segments are great, by the way. You've likely seen and experienced the undeniable similarities between the PHL and Mexico. Ingat lagi, Nelly; always stay safe!

Yes Nelly. Being a solo female traveler is something you should avoid as much as possible. Every solo female traveler I was watching on RU-vid shared unpleasant experiences they thought would never happen to them early in their vlog because they claimed "I'm a smart solo traveler"....until it happened to them. I know of one Australian girl who threw caution to the wind and never made it back and left grieving parents. Enjoy life but don't gamble with your safety.

Hi Nelly, I can sense that your mindfullness is getting all over the place, I'm sure youve become a little bit better few months after the break up but did you know that it will keeps getting harder and harder as the time goes by, that feeling will hunt you everytime not unless you get a full release, i recommend a hike on top of the mountain and scream and cry the fu*ck out of things,.... slow things out, do not do extreme things continously because these will excite your brain even more and when the time comes that your in silence you'll find your self crying because of the sudden change in mood,...... you should try to keep in touch a lot more with your family because the love that they can gave you is endless and track down where the true feeling of love started from and thats family, I hope you find your self in a better place and full of love from people around you, just take it easy cos we are here to support you in your journey no matter what. ♥

Admire the honesty. I admire you a lot, Nelly!! I've been there so many times with the same man in my life, and now he is my husband. Met him at age 17, broke up, came back into my life after 4 years, now I am 21, broke again, then back after 9 months, then finally end being married to him for 42 years, with 3 kids, and now enjoying my 4 grandkids. It is a rough ride. I dated other guys in college but he was always in my mind. I can say I love him dearly until my last breath. I don't know how you do it, Nelly. For me, first I would do, stay out of the social media. You are too visible. Men can easily recover especially finding a new one for them. Go get a normal job. Now, there are so many occupations that offer work from home (remotely). Well, I pray for you.

Nelly, maybe you should change your vlog contents. In the Phils our faith matters. Since a big percentage of Pinoys are Catholics, practicing or not, why not feature the many churches in each province and research about its history and the locals' traditions. Its going to be a double whammy benefit for you, materially and spiritually.

Been traveling solo. Since 50's, Many times I met Filipinos on the way. I'm a woman of 63 now. I'm always questioned why I'm solo by them. But not other nationalities. Just staying at a dormitory of 4 people. So that I could spend longer time in a distination. Here I met solo women in their early 20's and 30's. It's the trend. Enjoying it. Quite normal to feel lonely sometimes. But loneliness is quick over too. Enjoy your journey. 😊
