Nice video man! Amazing view... Did you have any issue taking the Mavic to custom? any permit or some king a permit needed? any pointer i should or not do before i go? I'm going in few months. Thanks for shearing.

I had no issues taking it through customs when I went. Then again, I was not selected for a random search. Once you arrive at Customs in Mexico, you are given a green or red light to determine the random search. If you get the green light you just walk on through, no search or issues. A red light, they will do a quick search. From what I have read on forums and other sites is that if you do get selected for a random search, you are allowed to bring in 2 cameras without any issues, however, the drone would not count as one and could be subject to a % VAT (tax basically). Overall I would not see any issues in bringing the drone. Worse case is paying a 6-7% tax on it. Best of luck!
