If you have a swim up room do the servers come by to take drink orders or do you have to go to the bar to get your own drinks? We'll be staying the week before Christmas and are looking forward to our stay!

Hey! The servers generally stay in the area I’d the pool, but if you happen to catch one when they’re kind of close to your swim up pool they’ll definitely serve you. But you’ll find yourself waiting a while. If your swim up room isn’t very close to the main pool then you probably won’t get a server. But you can get room service!

I will be going in Oct and look forward to experiencing first hand experience. You made great point about the price we are paying for the stay and what we get. For a rating of a 7, I think I will enjoy myself as well. How was the process of getting cabs from the hotel to visit mall or tulum without excursions?

The process of getting cabs was very easy. Very similar to how they do it in Vegas, they have a stand at the front near the lobby and you just let them know you need a cab and they call one up for you. Super easy. Also, there is a well known excursion company with a desk right out front of the hotel where you can schedule an excursion if you want. They usually have their own transportation.
