If anyone thinks they can just walk into the pitch against Brazil and just expect to get points out of them easily , well i got some bad news for ya. I dont know what Dorival did but those guys are playing like they are ashamed to lose or draw, its a very different mentality ive seen since he became the National Coach.
Despite the resulf, this is the mexico mexicans wanted. Way different and better strategy than vs Uruguay. I understand they started youngsters but they were not intense enough.
The stadium was the kyle field college station for Texas ATM(uni) in Texas is actually the largest stadium in the U.S and last night they almost broke the record for the most attended game with 85,000 ppl(it fits over 102,000 ppl)
Mexico is currently going through a generational change phase and they are bringing in younger players and testing out different players and the coach decided to test a lot of different players against Uruguay which explains the result.
As an America fan it's sad to see Quiñones leave because he was such a creative player. I get that he's doing it for the money and I respect that decision. Sometimes staying at a club is not about loyalty though it's because the teams in Liga MX are very strict and greedy. It's sad to see even the players are not allowed by clubs to leave. Luis Chavez was stuck at Pachuca and in 2023 he took the matter into his own hands and payed his release clause to become a free agent. He was then able to move from Liga MX to the Russian league and go to Dynamo Moscow but is now stuck there because no one wants to work with Russian teams because of the war they're involved in.
Main reason that mexico lost to Uruguay was because mexico took it as a friendly and used their c team against a Uruguay who was locked in getting ready for copa america
While its nice to see a change, you can't be doing that 3 games away from copa America. This "change" should have been done right after the world cup in the past friendlies against Ubekiztan, Australia, Ghana, and Germany and also in the nations league against usa, Panama etc. THOSE were the games that you can experiment and bring different players and try different styles and formations. THESE 3 preparation games against Bolivia, Uruguay, and Brazil are to test out the starting squad as well as the bench system. This is way too late to experiment. Ecuador and Venezuela are in good moments right now, I don't see Mexico past the group stage, but one can only hope.
That game was crazy, I'm shocked that Mexico even scored two points against Brazil. But to be fair it looked like Brazil wasn't really trying. Congrats two both teams! 🇧🇷 🇲🇽 Also can you react to Canada v France? 🇨🇦 🇫🇷
I think there was no VAR, and that's why they didn't check it. The stadium is called the Kyle Field and home of the Aggies (Texas A&M). Also, I love your reactions. Keep it up!
13:55 The fucking game was 2:0 and it's just a friendly. There's no need to almost get injured every time like Mexico's players were doing. I agree that we did lose the World Cup precisely because of that, but this is a whole new team and just a friendly
To be fair that match against Uruguay, almost all of those players that started were a bunch of nobodys except for Chino and Alvarez. Even the goalkeeper. If this team against Brazil started against Uruguay it would have been completely different
Mexico has been is there lowest for a min now this team isn’t what it used to cause in Mexico all they care is about money and when young talent shows they are shadowed by a big pay wall making European teams not wanting to buy them and there’s also players that shouldn’t even be playing for this selection but money puts you there it’s sad to see Mexico go threw this
Yeah it's sad to see even the players are not allowed by clubs to leave.
Mexico couldn’t find a form because coach not putting the best players on the starting g lineup and no letting young players have the experience by now also government only choose who will give them more money
