Meyrick Park Golf Club, Course Vlog, Part 4 

Well he nearly came back from the dead Wayne, complacency is not allowed in golf I would have thought you would know that. Winners, nice on the surface, nasty inside is what i was taught. Probably only two holes to use driver on, unless like me your long in the tooth As you say think your way around. The public around there are not like I remember, cycling on fairways, walking across with people on the tee and the tarmac drive was only used by the greenkeepers to get to their compound. And the little hut has gone that was by the 13th tee, used that in the evenings when out with young ladies. My knee op has been pushed back down the line I would think but at least its not something fatal and others need the their treatments before me. Enjoyed this vlog Wayne took me back to my mid teens.

Well done Wayne.... had me worried at the end, but I totally understand you letting Olly have a few holes at the end..... 6&5 loss... he might not have recovered! Great line from you, you don’t need your driver on this course...... Olly driver every hole! Lol

Good to see you boys, safe and well and out playing again. Loved Olly's attempted tactics to put you off, which you totally ignored. I must admit I've never played a course where there were so many random people walking about, riding bikes and just sitting around. Was that unusual for a Bournemouth golf course or the norm?

In my head, which is, admittedly, a weird place, I heard that doll announcing, in a soothing, yet authoritative, Scottish highlands accent, "On the tee, representing Bournemouth and Hampshire....." Or alternatively, as he looks like one of the Mitchell brothers from EastEnders, I heard, in a gruff East London voice, " 'Ere, guv. Do us a favour and take this fecking fence spike out of my arse".

You actually won the game 6 and 5. By mistake you gave him a shot on the par 3, 4th . He should of had a shot on the 3rd hole which he didn't finish.

I've been stuck under that bush on the 16th many a time. The gully bit in the middle runs it down there so you either need to clear it or lay up short which is hard in the summer as it just runs on down there
