Love that you shared this with your daughter, so awesome! As for the wooden ledge, turn it over and you peel the white section back as it is two-way tape. That's how you secure it to the top floor of the castle.
Great review, family team! Glad you mentioned the upcoming Doc Nocturnal set; looks like it could almost be a continuation of this one if paired just right. Really wish there was some plastic to the playset/diorama; even thin plastic card would elevate this gorgeous set and be more durable. Regardless, it’s beautiful!
I emailed Mezco, they told me to email bbts (where I ordered from) and THEY told me they've got a lot of emails about it. So I'm guessing nobody got the operating table. Hopefully Mezco is able to find a way to get one out to everyone. I've never bought any of their stuff, so I'm not sure how they really operate on stuff like that.
@@snoweverywhere honestly ive bought Mezco products for years and the only QC issue I've ever had was one of Conan's Horns broke off of his helmet. It was a easy fix. With BBTS everytime I have contacted them about anything they have made it right. Now im not really sure what they are supposed to do if Mezco doesn't have the part to send people.
Awesome review! I’m so torn on this set. Love the figures, the box artwork is gorgeous, but the diorama being comprised of that sort of shiny/papery material kind of makes it a dealbreaker for me. How sturdy is the overall diorama? Does it look more striking in person? Great channel! Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!
I had set the bar pretty low when I ordered it tbh. I just wanted the figures which I think are excellent. Compared to some of the 5 point figures that I already have I think they are what you are paying for here. If each figure was in the 15 dollar range and you are paying about 20 bucks for the diorama I guess its about right. Honestly I had a ton of mezco points and think I spent about 30 dollars for this set so I was really happy. Its cardboard and I let my 5 year old play with it so its holding up ok but its cardboard. You know how cardboard is with the ends being frayed and bent. I honestly would pay more for plastic but it didnt break the bank because of my discount and im pretty happy with it. I cant tell you to spend 80 dollars for it unless you just want the figures.
Appreciate your reply! Yeah, that’s kind of what I’m realizing. It might be worth it just for these monster figs. BBTS has the set marked down a bit, so I’ll definitely keep my eye on it. That said, have you ever visited a Michael’s art store? Around Halloween they sell all sorts of amazing stuff to build a diorama. I might grab these guys and create an environment for them to battle in:) Cheers and keep up the awesome videos!
Seems like no one got the operating table. As far as that piece you didn’t know how to connect. There’s some adhesive on it. Peel off the white strips underneath and it extends the top floor. I’ve actually used mine as the operating table
My store ordered 10 and none of them have the top of the lab table. Also they only have 1 connecting wire and plug, where there should be at least two. As for the extra piece with the adhesive...it looks as if they changed the design quite a bit after they photographed the prototype for the box and drew those poor instructions. That floor piece does not fit correctly at all. Have contacted Mezco 3 times and only received bot responses that answered no questions.
