I've had this on pre-order for years and am sticking to it. The head size doesn't bother, it's Mezco y'all, they're stylized figures. My only gripe is that we didn't get a Riddler also.
I held off getting this until I saw your review as I wasn't sure what the articulation would be like. aint nobody that reviews a figure like you my man. definitely getting this now. (drinking my water 😉)👍
@@joshbohrer2612 they have no other option but to do so, they charge an arm and a leg for each of their items. Only issue with Hot Toys especially with this batman model is the durability over the years. Not a figure designed to last especially with the leeather cape. and mask.
The only thing i wished mezco has done is to have the chest piece and cape removable so that we can recreate the unmasked capeless look in the movie. Besides that really glad im ordered 2 of these 🔥🔥🔥
This is the only mezco I've ever seen that looks great besides Mr freeze. How do you have night creeper early? I'm about to check for a review, if its not up i cant wait to see it and the rest of the wave.
Hi ayo , the tone on the boots is off they don't have orange on them. I just looked up the suit and wing suit doesn't have orange too . Great review as always
Something in the Way hmmmmmm, Something in the Way yeah, Something in the Way hmmmmmm and I gotta say this The Batman figure along with the MAFEX does look so much better than SHF figure in terms of Robert Patterson's likeness and accessories from the movie, Awesome review
I still think the head is too big and the legs are too skinny. That he looks like a funkopop with his odd proportions. I also don’t like the alternative head sculpts. They just look odd to me
Sup bro can you help me pls my mafex symbiote spidreman reissue just arrived and the legs pops off easily in the thigh section pls reply and its not broken it just pops off easily
@@TheRealJohnOnYt oh wow. Okay here’s another idea this one has worked for me when my Mezco figs ankle joints get loose and wobbly. There’s this thing called “mounting putty” pinch a bit of that off and place it between the ball joint and the leg socket. It won’t be as perfect as you want it to be but it will add semi bond and still allow for the joints to rotate and move about.
@@TheRealJohnOnYt for sure man not a problem. I know the frustration you feel. I had the same happen with my Storm Collectibles subzero his arm socket broke and was never able to find a solid fix. I discovered mounting putty and it works enough to pose and hold the arm where I want it. I hope it works for you as well.
A bit hard to say what the proper tone of gray should be considering the film is mainly set during the night but it seems similar to the Mafex in tone.
Proportions are off, as is the usual for Mezco. Head is huge and he lacks a neck. And yeah, the gray is too light compared to the film's daylight ending.
@@DesperadoDingo I wouldn't go off a still from the film as that has a filter over it. After looking up behind the scenes photos, I though it looked a tad bright in comparison but then I saw a photo of the actual suit on display somewhere and it looked surprisingly bright, like the Mezco suit.
I haven't gotten any shipping notification from Mezco...only the charging email...payed the figure along time ago was expecting to get a shipping email but nothing...hoping it's not like Atticus Doom...never got any mail...shipped directly from china not long Island and took over a month...without any protection besides bubble wrap...no shipping box no comic book nothing only the figure in his box...so i really hoping this is not the same situation...i payed to much for this to happend...
I think settling is worse. For the price, you should be getting quality and responsiveness from Mezco. However they are a notoriously anti-consumer company. Regardless, this figure has the proportions of a bulked child, the cape and neck are ridiculously sloppy, the head is sitting on its chest, and the legs are like twigs. D Amazing will never critique the company providing him free high-end figures, but critiques should be weighed heavily in situations like this.
If people wanna complain they have every right to, its their hard-earned money and they don’t have to buy a figure if they feel it doesn’t meet their standards
His legs look off. They're too skinny. It's like there are twigs for legs. Reminds me of all the one sixth scale figures. All of them have sticks for legs. I have a Capt America Hot Toys and he has pencil thin legs but muscular upper body. It just throws everything off.
You could have lead with your bias😅 Its almost as if Mezco favors overall aesthetic over articulation...🤔 Take your pick... I agree with D Amazing and think it looks absolutely fantastic(with the head raised), plastic will never compete with a mix of actual soft goods when it comes to photography though. Looks to have the best shaped bat ears out of the bunch.
Welp it looks like im not picking this up. Doesn't look terrible. Definitely the best pattinson batman figure so far. That said, i don't like the orange lines on the boots and the articulation is kinda limited. The price isn't worth it. Not a fan of the glider suit. Even in the movie i thought it was kinda dumb. He's batman, not flying squirrel man. Mezco has been disappointing with its recent releases.
