Yeah dude, I love Spidey and this looks awesome. That huge web wall is awesome for any Spider figure to chill on. But yeah, having so many MCU versions of this guy, I wish Mezco could pull off a "PS4 Hot Toys" and give us that 90's scarlet goodness.
Mezco dudes killed it with the texture of this suit. It looks unbelievably elaborate and by no means cheap. It looks great from shoulders to elbows, gloves, knees etc. Not a fan of mcu spidey but it looks from photos so well made.
Can’t wait to receive mine! I think the height is fine because he scales perfectly with other Mezco’s. Not sure why they changed the skin tone on the unmasked head. Anyway, I have both previous versions. Thanks for the badass review & pics as always!
Nah, god no... JOKE! It would be hella awesome! I know that those figures would be pretty pricey, but I'm fine paying a good amount of money for a hella nice action figure.
I really don't like the look of some Mezco figures (like the comic Superman for example), but this one looks AMAZING... Awh my god, it's so perfect ;-; The only problem that I have with it is the scale, but just that.
The previous Mezco Techsuit was the best of all the releases. I can’t wait to get my FFH version. Haven’t seen a message from Mezco about shipping yet.
Anyone else wish Mezco would make some PS4 Spider-Men? Like advanced suit, classic suit, Scarlet Spider and maybe another one but those be my top three.
Man, companies need to start hiring you to do promo shots of their figures! I had no real interest in this figure, but seeing your shots made me feel like “Damn, I shoulda bought this when I had the chance!”. I’m kinda glad you don’t though, because I’d be broke if they did hire you 😂
Will that rubber type material hold up or get creases. Having trouble deciding between the 2099 and the upgraded suit because I'm having this dilemma where the 2099 is a better figure but the upgraded suit is a better character so I kind of want a normal looking spider man like the upgraded suit but the 2099 is the better figure
Ive had the mark one from homecoming for years posed it a good amount and its in great condition overall. Not jus cuz i dont like the suit design of far from home but also it looks like it has extra foh rubber on the non red parts which makes me iffy to get it . I am growin on suit design a bit but the orginal doesnt have tht foh rubber on the non red parts makin it more durable and less prone to degradation
Something about the vinyl on the torso for the red webbed design looks weird to me, would rather them have used the same cloth material all around. Looks like rubber
Fasterthanyou14 I know I have cut down on the Mezco stuff for right now, I am still behind on a few....I just hate how if you don’t get to some the price goes up even more!
As a collector of Mezco one 12 I can tell you that none of the figures with a vinyl or faux leather/pleather should be left in poses that cause creases. Those creases will leave permanent marks. Keep the more dynamic posing for the ones that are wrapped in mostly cloth.
The xmen deadpool is a perfect example of a suit that can be left in any pose for extended periods of time due to it mainly being a cloth fabric as opposed to the more plastic based fabrics.
schwiggity nothing more enjoyable than an out of box mint figure. There is a fine line between collecting and playing. I stopped playing with figures when I was a kid. I strictly collect, but am not a scalper so I remove them from their boxes and place them in glass display cases. I research materials used and do whatever I can to ensure the utmost longevity of my collection. Certain mezcos just degrade by standing there cause of the materials used. If you really do enjoy your collection I would really look into caring for them first.
mezco is way over-sized... how the hell do they mess up the scale when they call themselves the 1:12 collective. Tom Holland is 5'8"- 5'9" with shoes at best, a 1:12 scale figure of him should be around 5 2/3" tall. like the previous MCU Spidermans, the best one has yet to release and it is going to be the MAFEX.
