Awesome review, man! I love the transitions from video to still shots so we could examine the details. Also, I agree with Mikey bumping De La Soul and Raph bumping ONYX. Leo probably listens to Nas or Kweli, and Donnie has Organized Confusion/ or maybe MF Doom lol.

These look awesome! Got mine preordered at entertainmentearth. I'm going to be nervous until I get these in hand. It's good to hear Casey is coming. Splinter, Shredder, and some Foot Ninjas need to get made too. A Gomez x TMNT figure would be on point too.

They were bad I intentionally didn't order through Mezco because I wanted to be able to cancel if the final images didn't impress. When I saw them at the Mezco booth I pre-ordered another set lol.

Very detailed and meticulous review Wade. IMO these are the best Turtles to date! My previous favorite were Super7 ultimates Turtles but these are so much better. Paint and detail wise is fantastic, Mezco did an absolutely amazing job here. Just wish they would've done something similar with the 89 Batman.

I’m pretty sure the throwing knives effect are for Leo and Donnie the Shuriken throwing effect is for Raph That’s what the pouch on the back is for the Shuriken

Great review! Wish I would've had the funds to pre-order them! The 31:49 things are probably one of the easiest weapons to pronounce - tonfa. 😂

I came to see a review and found a paid Mezco ad, the figures are not bad, but they have many flaws in my opinion, starting with those bodies too similar between the three turtles and those necks that look like giraffe between leo, mickey and don😅 the truth is the only turtle that looks decent is raphael, unfortunately the interchangeable heads are a waste because two are too similar, Mezco did a regular job with these figures, and I don't think they are as cool as you make them look.

@@UnparalleledUniverse I just don't think you mentioned any negative points in your review, when the figures have them, and that's why it feels like a paid advertisement, especially when there are very good Neca and Super 7 turtles figures to say that "these are the best tmnt figures".🤦‍♂

Mikey was dark forest green and Raph was lime green from the original Playmates toys. Here, they’re color swapped so yeah, they’re 2012 colors.

I like the modular nature of the neca sets (how you can put any expression with any mask on any turtle) but i do appreciate how much customization and individuality Mezco put into this set. Makes it fill worth the price because theres so little re-use.

very very curious as to how much you actually paid for these cause people are asking for anywhere from $800 to $950..... People are charging $200/$250 per turtle.......... insane, dope review just want to know how much you paid. $800 is a couple car payments for me

Leonardo’s swords are actually ninjakens not katanas, I can see the confusion but to know the difference katanas have a curved blade while ninjakens have a straight blade

This was an amazing review on these amazing figures. I love how you went over everything and the size comparisons that had a little bit of everything to ensure everybody could tell the size of these. I had seen some people complain on Facebook that these are too small, and I have no idea what they ate talking about. The size is perfect on these. I didn't get these, but oh, was I tempted! The blending of Mirage with Playmates and original cartoon is done so well. It feels like it is probably 85-90% Mirage, which you can't go wrong there!

This set is so good. Even though it comes with so many accessories I’d still be down for Mezco to release an accessory pack. Even more heads, color themed weapons, and maybe a set of belts/straps with their initials on them to have even more display options. Can’t wait to see what they do with the license. Mezco’s Shredder is going to be insane.

For me, it’s just because his belts are the easiest to remove. Raph’s come off easy too but he’s a little more bulk. Same articulation points though.
