Crazy story but true as a 13 year old kid I cut my foot and had to be taken to the hospital and when me and my family got to the hospital we noticed lots of news vans but didn't pay much attention as I was cut pretty bad and need stitches and surgery and a few hours later found out that the reason for all the news vans was Brandon Lee had also been rushed to the same hospital in Wilmington north carolina in March of 1993 with a gun shot wound that happened during the filming of the Crow that they were filming in my hometown of Wilmington North Carolina....i was actually in the same hospital New Hanover memorial at the same time on the same day he past away and that movie still to this day almost 30 years later is very sad but is also a great movie and one of my favorites

LOL I love how you referenced so many lines in the film in this review, and how could you not?! I was OBSESSED with The Crow as a kid, I don't even know how many times I saw it in the theater, and it stayed in my VCR when I had it on VHS. I would get this figure, but MEZCO is way to pricey for my wallet.

Believe it or not, Brandon Lee appeared as the Crow alongside Bruce Lee dressed as Billy Lo in a Valiant comic book. It's not a subtle cameo either. Brandon declares "Mother is the name for God on the lips and hearts of all children" while Bruce screams "WAHHH!".Archer & Armstrong #21 (American Wasteland Part 2: "Brokedown Olympus") was written by Fred Van Lente with art by Pere Pérez. This issue went on sale June 11th, 2014. Father and son attempt to simultaneously kick Obadiah in the face. He dodges the attack and resorts to a stun ram. That's H.A.R.D. Corps nomenclature for a concentrated wave of telekinetic force. After they fall, Aram Anni-Padda says "That was weird even by our standards." Archer replies "Uh-huh".

Great review, sir. There are several properties where I love the concept but not the execution. The Crow is in that category for me. Saw the movie when it came out when I was a teenager. But the movie just didn't do it for me and the less said about the sequels the better. All that said, this figure looks amazing. I'm happy for Crow fans who were able to pick this up. The accessories put it over the top (looking at you, flaming crow symbol). I can definitely appreciate it. Also "CAW CAW BANG..." LOL

Best movie ever made, changed my life, made me who I am today, inspired me to pursue my dreams of acting, and Brandon Lee is my hero and biggest inspiration in life. The fact that they had the nerve to remake this perfect film is an absolute insult and I refuse to go anywhere near it. Everyone involved and in favor of the project should be ashamed of themselves. Excellent review of a phenomenal piece! I'll be sure to try and get one of my own!

Too true. In fact, I didn't notice it until I got into edits, the bright lights in the booth actually hide it, and I was using magnifiers with it's own LED at one point.

The Crow was the first ever movie I bought with my own money on VHS. I was totally obsessed with it back in the day. I still listen to the soundtrack all the time. When I saw this figure, I thought it would be crazy expensive. $100 aint exactly cheap, but it's way less than I expected.

Loving mine! So awesome to hear the movie lines in this review! The Crow is still one of my favorite movies/comic book movies and this was my most anticipated figure of the year! I've got such fond memories of The Crow on TNT (and Sting) and the figure looks great. Everything it needs to be. But I just can't spend premium prices on figures with those faux leather and rubber cloth pieces. They just don't last and I don't think theres anything mezco can do. I haven't pulled out my Black suit Spidey or *shutter* my Dredd in years, but I'm expecting half their costumes to crumble off now. But I can't argue with the sculpted and cloth parts. And this is really the perfect execution. All plastic just wouldn't do him justice

Grail release for me as well.... I remember years ago one of the toy companies got the Crow license and in an interview the rep went on about how they were going to produce everything "The Crow" the way Star Wars is handled by Hasbro. And it never manifested - at best they released a boxed set or two. We will probably never get a "Crow Universe" of figures, but this one is sitting in my Pile of Loot and once it's here I think it will cement my Crow buying maybe forever. Because I love the Crow..... and real love.... err nevermind.

I tend to not get Mezco figures merely due to pricing and living in UK the shipping makes it worse but....... I feel like a little worm on a big f***ing hook with this one. On bbts it doesn’t show that the guns come with him which is weird like it comes with everything in this video but the guns and I just wanted to ask if there was any re-release or anything maybe even you got a special one?
