Really excellent review, I've owned the 109 for several months and I think you really did a great job communicating what to expect from their sound. I do think they can be a little too bright for some; I think they're excellent example of a brighter tuning done extremely well (without harshness or thinness) but it may be too much for some. I pad swap mine for better comfort and to tame the treble energy a bit, but don't think it's necessary just that it can be done to preference. Excellent video, it's one of Meze's most compelling products for price to performance given how nice the build quality is. Love the headphone reviews, hope to see more ✌️

Thanks for good review, also for an insight into your listening prefernces. I also bought these 109 Pro headphones recently and am super satified with them. I had a chance to audition and compare it to few other makes like Audeze LCD2, Audeze MM500, Hifiman Arya, Hifiman Sundara and Focal Clear at a local Hifi store and for my ears the 109-s did sound the most enjoyable by a fat margin. The Audeze LCD2 was a disappointment for me as its higher vocals were outright painful for my ears, although instrumental music did sound great and with bold authority. The Focal Clears again were dull and the sound was as coming from a thick cloud.... Hifiman Aryas were pretty close to 109 but not as juicy and did cost significantly more.Audeze MM500 were worst for my taste, plain unemotional sound, perhaps typical for studio experts...

Thanks for nice review. Interesting if these cans are as good as we see hype around them. This price segment is somewhere between cheaper popular cans 500 and below eur price like sehnheiser or hifiman and more serious level of 1000+ openback of focal, same hifiman, audeze. But in your opinion are they worth their asking price and are they universal or you recommend them for some music genre more?

No offense bro, but these videos are just too long. Too much empy talk, redundant talking from the same thing with different words and uhm-s, ooo-s, after some time i just skipping minutes from the endless talking. I would say a headphone review should be between somewhere 6 and 14 minutes, no way to be 22 minutes long. Yah and comparsion is a must, this is a veery subjective hobby so if the reviewer cant compare it to something, its just hangs in the air and stays a totally subjective perspective without any reference point.
