I started this album the night it was confirmed he passed. I have been a DOOM fan for over 20 years and he had a huge influence on our style from inception. I took a few beats that I felt echoe'd the ambience with additional emotion to bring something new to the remixes and as well as a few that were 1:1 DOOMy vibes. I did not intend for these to be DOOM beats when I made them but now I cant unhear it and I feel some really work.
This album is dedicated to him. I noticed a certain percentage of younger DOOM fans dont like when people remix his stuff, despite DOOM literally giving the blueprint when he remixed things pre jumping off. You are not real DOOM fans ;)
