Mf Doom's definitely a lyricist. Some of what he's said sounds like gibberish and then I get it like years later when I put one of his records on. He put out all kinds of shit back around 03 to 05 and then disappeared. He kinda fell off I think. Mm food is alright though it's got some bangers but it also has alot of tracks that are like cut up, sample collages or something. They're kinda interesting but I always ended up skipping them.
Dude is still active to this day - he released a collab album with Czarface as recently as last year and has worked with Jneiro Jarel (JJ DOOM album) and Bishop Nehru this last decade.

@@2013_Shox dude calm down haha. Yeah I don't really like the sample collages all that much especially after the tenth or fiftieth time listening to the album. I pretty much always skip. I always thought the beat to that Cookies song was wack too and not in the Doom way where they are cheesy but good. The track that features the girl about "love veterans and war wounds" or something kinda drags too but the beat is kind of interesting. I love the rest of the songs as far as I remember. That looong sample interlude thing jis just boring to me and takes alot of time out of the album but to each his own I guess.
mf doom is fucking crazy. lyricly he is fucking amazing. but his delivery is not for everyone. especially not these days. most people are only into trap sadly.

Now I’m watching this and towards the middle of dooms verse where he says maybe give her curves a feel I heard currency’s voice rhyming saying pulling up the old school it got the curb appeal la da da dat dat and then this guys says “I can hear currensy on this” I swear I’m not making this up .
