@@jackfoster3652 there's a team of AI scientists that just used their AI to produce new unique songs by dead artists including Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, and Jimmy Hendrix. It's really fucking spooky. The Nirvana one kinda sucks but the other are not bad. I'd be curious to see what it can do with MF DOOM considering it uses machine learning to find patterns and similarities within a large sample. Check it out it's pretty cool.
Only can speak for myself when I say this is my favorite MF DOOM Song. The lyrics, the beat, the mixing, the singing, and the goofy outro verse all are gems. RIP 2 tha GOAT Dumile.
Mine was doomsday tje first song on his first album as MF DOOM thanks to my brother who put me on his music years ago and then rhymes like dimes was my second song ive heard from him
My favourite DOOM song ever. It's got such a special vibe, makes you feel so nostalgic and relaxed, but it also hits different now that DOOM is dead. Huge loss for the hip-hop community that he is no longer here.
Same here dude. It reminds me of an old video game level I played as a kid, but can't recall to save my life... Def nostalgic vibes . Do you know any other mf doom beats that capture this feeling?
@@Jamesphilipjfry It’s hard to say cause this song is pretty unique even in DOOM’s discography. Maybe “Kon Queso" gives off that kind of video game vibe you said about. Other than DOOM I think there’s one album giving similar feeling and it’s Deltron 3030.
RIP DOOM, this song, Doomsday and That's That pulled me into DOOM and I am so grateful for Vox putting him in a video about rap that got me to look for his music. Godspeed Daniel
i remember this was the song that ori got me into DOOM and for that i'm grateful that i got to experience this while he was still with us. fly high DOOM 🕊
Praise go to Vox and Estelle’s videos there for putting me onto this and getting me to really delve into DOOM and the more intricate side of rhymes. If you’re reading this, you’re a real one 💯
One of the best to ever spit rhymes. Only good thing about him moving to heaven is that more people are being exposed to his music. Rap In Peace. Pure dynamite.
What's crazy is because he's not out there and out all in public. He's so low-key and chill. His movie roles are powerful (4 brothers). Although he's so low-key and maybe some over look him. The og's of the game give him so much praise for his skill
1) JAY Z 2) Andre 3000 3) Common 4) MF DOOM 5) Big Pun. My favourite rappers and I'm so glad I've been alive to hear them do their thing, these guys are the reason some people write at times. Amazing 🔥
If you can't decipher what he says, at least do some research before speaking empty opinions. There's a lot of info, jokes, and imagery in this verse alone.
@@o_gumbyz i love lyrical stuff and rap that has a lotta layers metaphorically but deciphering words that seem to rhyme for the sake of rhyming seems like to much
@@Thesauce585 I respect shit like this but DOOM ruins his music by making everything rhyme in a way that sounds so awkward and he doesn't fully connect the subject matter to the rhymes.
