What style of boot are you interested in getting? Lace up boots, Moc toe boots, engineer boots, etc

+Brian The Bootmaker I'd say a lace up boot with a flat sole, a little dressier. I've kind of always wanted to try engineer boots as well though.

Red wings are over priced and pretty commercial anymore.. look into the brand Thorogood. They're made in Wisconsin and are just as quality as redwings and the pricing is far more mild. I may never work in another brand of boots again.

I really enjoy your videos but I have a question: why do you seem to always replace the welt when you resole? Isn't the whole idea behind the welt that you can cut off the old sole and sew a new one to the existing welt? In most cases, such as this video, it would appear the welt was in good condition and could have been reused.
