They don't care for make-up and stage antics and whatnot - they simply go pitch black on the stage, smoulder the f--- out of their instruments, and vomit extreme nihilism in the process. Black metal at its finest (or blackest?).

Kriegsmaschine was their main band, Mgła originally started out as a side project, but now I really can't decide, "wich brink is wich" :D Altered States of Divinity is a big favourite of mine, from Kriegsmaschine, for it had a very Panzer Division Marduk taste (to me, at least, I like that Marduk album a lot), though the other two are more like drumplay eargasm for me, I like the doomy effects, and Darkside is really showing his creativity on them. So yes, absolutely incredible musicians and I hope they'll keep this shit up for a long-long time.

Ja dopiero teraz odkryłem ten zespół :-/. Teksty mają świetne bo właściwie to poezja o wątpliwościach które ma każdy czlowiek. Zresztą zagraniczne recenzje też robią swoje i to że nie pajacują robi swoje
no nie łżesz :-) słucham z upodobaniem... co ciekawe, wszyscy na zachodzie srają się tekstami, które są mega inteligentne i przemyślane. Choć język twórcy to polski :)
Are they running markers of some sort on the back of their guitars (and bass by the looks) due to lack of visibility of the masks? (I'm assuming even darker when lights are off even for a moment?)
Yeah thats exactly what those are. A lot of bands that play dark stages will do that. Wolves in The Throne Room even have these damn blue flashlight things affixed to their guitars.

after 24 years in metal industry I can say Mgła, Uada and Craft are the best Black Metal Bands EVERRRRR
The great truth is there isn't one And it only gets worse since that conclusion The irony of being an extension to nothing And the force of inertia is now a vital factor And there is despair underneath each and every action Each and every attempt to pierce the armour of numbness Burning bridges becomes a habit to support And the front line expands like there's no tomorrow I envy the maggots Their stuff at least sticks together Better than laudations of misinformed seers And those are lengthy annals of shame that we work with It's like dumping dead meat at the brink of Styx With a barge that we made of what was left of Yggdrasil After veterans of spiritual revolts were done with their armchairs And I don't even remember which brink is which The odour of sanctity is just refined stench of existence Shining pearl of Augeas' crown pales in comparison And there is despair underneath each and every action Each and every attempt to pierce the armour of numbness Burning bridges becomes a habit to support And the front line expands like there's no tomorrow The grotesque eagles of misfortune, well fed on thanatos, sit still It's the dignity of scavengers at the ever growing garbage dump of life There is something about the rigid posture of a proper, authentic blind As if extended arms reached to pass his blindness onto others

This version is only like 40 seconds shorter than the album version. The album version has a 10 second intro which this one doesn't have so it's not that much faster if any faster at all
@@thedonsz9186 ...No. I don't wanna be a dick but your math is completely off. From the first note to the final one in this video is like 6:40. The album version is 7:30 (excluding the intros of both). It's almost a whole ass minute difference. Of course it's live so it's to be expected but if you can't hear the difference then you are certainly not a drummer/bassist. It's really noticeable

It's just their thing. I went to their gig 3 years ago and they didn't move, wave, talk, or in anyway interact for the whole set - it was amazing. Then came behemoth with their theatrical performance - to each his own.
