MG 1500 Supercharger conversion

This is the first part introducing the car - 1500 1978 midget with 36 k miles unused for 20 years.
Guy and Dan we will be getting the car back on the road and then add a Vmaxscart dcoe supercharger conversion. This should show around 100 bhp/130 ft lbs on the standard engine .
This is the car as we collected it got it running and tested its power .
This Vmaxscart supercharger kit is for the Triumph type engine 1300/ 1500 used in the Herald/Toledo/Dolomite/Spitfire and Midget fitments adding to my range of A series MINI/Midget/Sprite Minor and B series MGB/MGA kits with DCOE carbs and with injection options.
Peak power at the wheelsfrom the car was around 55 bhp /65 bhp at the flywheel so bang on the money for a stock engine!

What are you doing!!!?? That car clearly needs a lot of attention and supercharging the engine would be way down my priority list….but I’ll be watching regardless.

What am I doing ? Well , I'm following a plan: This first video was showing the car as received and getting some base readings of the engines' power. I have a growing shopping list of parts to get the car back on the road safely /legally and some aesthetic ones too. The body work is ok and shell is sound if not particulary pretty, I wont be repainting it and re trimming the seats /interior as they are usable , brakes, tyres, cooling, with loads more cleaning and preserving plus the added supercharger on the standard engine that has covered 36,000 miles is target.
