To me half the fun is recovering the unprepared. I remember that was me, once. Sure you didn't get the trail run, but I never thought it was ever about the destination. To make it personal, how did you get your rig back on its wheels after you rolled it? my2cents.
Great job on the video! Great trip, thanks for putting it together. Even better to finally meet you, Ryder and all who joined. I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to meet up.
Welcome to my backyard ! what a ln awesome video man ! I was born and raised in Bakersfield but moved to Austin Texas . I am building my 69 k5 ( the rear seats thanks to your blueprints which worked perfectly) I'm thinking about road tripping out that way again . maybe we can hook up and go wheelin ! rad videos man
right on man, after all that hard work you finally made it!! drinkin coffee at 10pm workin on this 14ff. all i need is a dana 60 and its on like kong. thanks for the vid.
14 is just about to go in and get welded up.had to whip up a stand etc.so its taking a little longer.Ordered my 1/4" weld on beadlocks with anti coning rings. Looking for rims and tires. This weekend. Finding a dana 60 i can afford is the hard part. But this blazer has been on the miller a 100 times with the dana 44 up front. So the dana 60 isnt totally needed to go.im going to say a month tops and she'll be ready.
that's awesome man! love to see a video of you actually gettin out and gettin dirty! would love to see you do a drawing to come out and do an adventure with you!
We want to do this trail in our Jeep but we're beginners (kinda?) and I'm scared of getting stuck. Can we go with you guys next time you go? You gotta try again without that lame 4 runner club. Family jeep trip!
Man ive had the same problem before it sucks day gets wasted, when people go out they should always have recovery gear and plenty of food and water you might be there a while accidents happen whenever
Sounds like there was an issue with a 2WD vehicle that shouldnt be there. Overlanders generally dont outfit 2WD vehicles. Just sayin'. Haters gon' hate though. Hate "the rookie" if you really need to hate that bad. Or his friends that didnt talk him out of it. Nice K5 out on that Jeep trail though.
That's the problem is that "Overlanders" are not driving the appropriate vehicle for off-road travel. Embarrassing and dangerous, it does matter what you drive!
