Loan edukkunavark 8 Lakhinte interest save cheyyam ( Almost 2 Lakhs can be saved if interest rate is 9% and loan tenure 6 years)(interest will increase if cibil score is less) Drawback: 1. Two people cannot go to two different places at same time in own vehicle (one person can take cab for city commute so this is negligible)

Happy owner of MG astor manual top end for 2.5 years now...Perfect car for both city and long drives...really underrated . Happily driving with a ton of features . Mileage also clocking around 12-13 in city and 15-16 in highway. And as vivekji said superb interiors.

Definitely makes sense. A big con I found in MG comet was lack of fast charging, but it makes perfect sense as a second car. For somebody who commutes more than 50km a day, or drives around a metro city daily like B'lore or chennai, the comet would be great. And they can travel to their distant hometown for the weekend in the Astor.

Nice review. Actually i haven't seen an astor after 6 months in the road. People are not considering it has a good option. Comet is there. 😊 The pricing of zs is now amazing.

Well comet doesnt cut the bill bro, maybe if ur city use is more or town to town distance use is more then fine. Again petrol astor u will end up paying 10 times that of electric comet. If you have long distance to travel like above 2000 plus every month then get zs ev. Plus a small petrol car i10 or maruti for city use. So petrol use is minimum. I am using nexon ev for long and wife amaze for city use. Makes sense as city use is less then 800km. Electric is 2500km long drives. Budget 27lakhs. But if u have more city use and very less long drive then vivek is right.

My favourite car, but service issues,because very minimal outlets have in all over the country .

The main risk with MG is that the Chinese, they will not own responsibility of the brand in India.. It's always an Indian partner who is ultimately responsible for providing long term service to the Indian customer. Chinese principal might disappear overnight in case of any sign of bilateral conflict.

Njn poyi test drive cheytharnnu the NA 1.5 on 2022 vandi valikkunnilla enne ollu. If it had a power punch I would've bought it, great build quality and comfort. Had to settle for s cross petrol zeta variant.

Hey vivekji…the main reason why people don’t consider these cars is because of the brand and its Chineese factor..moreover, for that 9.9 lakh exshowroom for the base variant, you miss a lot of features and the overall vehicle appearance will look a bit dull for sure..whereas with the mid to top spec trim of the so called compact suvs, you get a more premium feel overall and a lot more features I guess😊

The thing is Comet looks like an upmarket Magic iris. If we are shelling out money for a CAR, and that too around 7-8 lakhs, then for me this thing is out of the shortlist.

I own a Tiago EV and hence wanted an ICE based vehicle for long trips. Bought a second hand Innova considering comfort and since it's a 7 seater. My hybrid garage setup is complete now ig😂. And yes total budget is 19L (13L for Tiago EV, 6L for Innova). Now thinking as to whether I should downgrade to a mid range EV.

Good concept

I own Ertiga and Comet. Trust me, both cars, does the job done well. Comet is our daily driver, and Ertiga is for highways and road trips.

I will never opt both at the same time! It will make me more inconviniences like maintanance and service of both, paying insurance premium and other expenses of both car leads to more financial burden! And more over these, another problem is parking both car needs more spaces in car porch! As far as my own convinenes is concerned, I will choose only one at a time! I don't need both.

Vivekji, please suggest a used car for someone who's looking to buy his first car. A reliable car that won't be used too much - 500KM per month on average. Not too small like an Alto. Budget under 5 lakh. Going lower would be better though 😅. If you can please provide some suggestions
