Today, I’m going to tell you a story about the best-selling British 2-seating roadster of the 90’s - the MG F, produced from 1995 to 2002.
In total, about 77 thousand MG Fs were produced. That’s a really decent number for such a niche car.
The MG F was a revival of MG’s glorious history of building small cool roadsters, like the MG Midget or the famous MG B.
As you may expect, driving MG F was a very exciting and interesting experience. The car had a great suspension, virtually ideal weight distribution, a low center of gravity, and enough power for its light weight to bring a lot of joy to the driver.
It had very sensitive but predictable steering, so you could have fun and be safe at the same time.
The MG F was and is a great car for its money. It could be an ideal competitor for Mazda Miata if not for the quality issues. But in any case, it was a very funny little car that could easily put a lot of smiles on your face when you drove it.
