Very useful video which helped me setup my app easily. However, my app now shows no information and asks me if I want to bind now. If I try to bind again, the car tells me that it’s already bound. And when I try to unbind the car, there is no unbind option anywhere, despite the car telling me to click the unbind button on the app. I’ve tried reinstalling the app but still no information. Help!

Thank you your video is way better than the one on the MG website because it does not show how to bind the car because it is out of date the newer models are different. they really should sort it out than goodness for you guys out there.

Thanks form germany for the simple explanation. Yet when I scan the code with my smartphone the app does not register the car and nothing happens. I can’t seem to figure out the problem, I hope you may know some solution?

did you ever find out why? I am trying to share the key to another phone, scanning the QR seems ok, car dashboard says hello MG User, but app does not register.

I just got my ZS Excite last week and the newer model seems to have a different infotainment system to this. Do you know where the QR code is on the new one?

really good walkthrough. But how do I bind a second phone? The part were i choose a pin and so on. We have succeeded in registring two accounts, we can switch accounts in the car, but only my phone recieves information about the car/battery and only my phone can be used as a remote

I've reinstalled the app on my phone because it didn't appear to be working. Now I've had to reconnect but when I scan the QR code it says to unbind the app first. How do I unbind, I'm using the same phone as before.,.?

Not available on the Exclusive (mk1) models I’m afraid, only on the 2nd generation ZS EV, MG 5 and new MG 4

Hello, the car used on the video is the MG ZS EV Standard Range. The Long Range has 273 miles available when fully charged. :-)

@@LuscombeSuzukiLeeds Oh great then, not bad..There are hardly any reviews online of the standard range model and details as well. It says it does 198 miles in mixed conditions, but no info on the City/motorway speeds

Hello Vince and thank you for your comment. Yes, you can connect two phones, however, the car can be paired with only one phone at a time for security purposes. So the car will receive commands from the phone it is paired with.
