The full variant-wise prices of the MG Windsor EV have been revealed, which range from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 15.50 lakh (introductory ex-showroom, pan-India). This EV is available both with a battery rental option and as a complete car that includes the battery. Bookings for the Windsor EV will start from October 3, while the deliveries will commence from October 12, 2024. Test drives of the Windsor EV will start from September 25. Here’s how the mid-spec Exclusive variant of the MG Windsor EV looks and what it offers.
What is the MG Windsor EV’s battery rental program about?
The MG Windsor EV’s battery rental program is you, the customer, paying for the usage of the vehicle’s battery pack. The cost of the battery isn’t included in the vehicle’s price and you need to pay for its usage, which stands at Rs 3.5 per km. You need to recharge it for a minimum of 1,500 km.
What is the price of the MG Windsor EV in India?
MG has priced the Windsor EV with the battery rental option starting at Rs 9.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). This price doesn’t include the battery pack cost, and you’ll pay Rs 3.5 per km for the battery subscription.
Alternatively, you can buy the EV as a complete unit, including the battery pack, with prices ranging from Rs 13.50 lakh to Rs 15.50 lakh.
