MG ZR 160 ASSO exhaust 

My zr 105 sounded like that, its the hydraulic tappets, got mine replaced and its alot quieter

The tapping sound goes after a while as the car has hydraulic tappets. changing the oil helps to reduce the sound

Watched this video as a mate recommended the asso for my ZR160.. Sounds good, so thanks. Just 1 question.. I can hear your engine sounding quite 'diesel-like' (best way I can describe it) Mine sounds like this too.. Is this normal for the VVC160 to sound like that? Or have we both got the same problem? haha.. P.s. If anyone else reads this and knows my answer please shout !!

nah its the vvc mech that taps mines the same... i know because ive already replaced my tappets for no reason :@
