Can I just say that when I used to watch you guys as a kid I used to always be amazed on how well you guys share/ take turns and honestly I feel like it taught me to be better at sharing/taking turns with my little brother 😂 actually stopped watching a few years ago (I’m basically 16 now) but I ran across this video by letting my little cousin use my iPad and it brought back so many memories and nostalgia 😂❤ Love you guys so much y’all we’re definitely a big part of my childhood

What is surprising is that it's 2022 and I have been watching this channel for so many years now I feel old looking back 😭😭

I bought a full case of these at Walmart on the 1st, which meant I got all 18 sets from the Diner series. I really love the idea of these, but 2 of mine had the wrong resin included (strawberry waffles had chocolate cream and blueberry cheesecake came with strawberry syrup) and the glass to my strawberry shake has brown spots all over it that I can't seem to clean off. I haven't tried using the resin yet, but I'll be using a UV flashlight that I use for my resin projects since there's not much sun in the midwest in the winter. At least I have a big bottle of UV resin to add to these if any of them didn't include enough resin. I also really wish they would have used less plastic in the packaging. Like the little fruit containers are ok since they're cute and are pretty much part of the toy. But all the layers of plastic around the ball, plus all the plastic bags each piece comes in is too much. Like why make such a huge bag to just put a tiny fork, spoon or knife in? They could have packed it in with the tongs and the top of the dome. They could have at least used paper bags like they do with LOLs. Still, even with the complaints I do have, I'm absolutely going to buy the whole Cafe set and maybe even buy doubles as well. The scale works perfectly for my Rainbow High dolls.

I had a hard time watching this video because I kept feeling like yelling at the screen. I don't know why you didn't check the back of the checklist, but that's where the recipe cards are, which have the instructions for the individual pieces. The strawberry parfait was supposed to be done in 2 layers (resin, cake, strawberries, cure then repeat) which is why the resin was just sticking at the top of the glass. Oh, and the easiest way to open the resin seals is by using tweezers. Real, metal ones, not the plastic ones they included. Just thought I should clarify.

The "recipe" is on the back of the insert that shows all the different food items to collect and make. Read the other side of the insert. (Basically it comes with 2 direction sheets: the black and white insert as well as the aforementioned insert with the foods to collect)

A cute idea since I like mini things but the wasteful plastic packaging is back with a vengeance. They were doing so well with lol surprise and using paper bags and balls... Although I did laugh when that whip cream went all inside. 🤣🤣

I thought we would get to see the finished product... 😢

Why do they put such small items in such big bags ? Seems like a waste of plastic packaging !!

Omg am I the only one concerned that resin is marketed in a kids toy? It's toxic and should only be used with proper ppe!

If it's cold in the room you're working with these, another tip might be to hold the resin bottle in your hands to warm it up- even UV resin flows better when it's warm! These are really cute, I love toys that encourage creative play like this!

the "recipe"/instructions or directions on how to assemble/create the mini foods is on the back of the picture of the item you got on the big foldout paper that shows all the different ones you can get. The paper youre showing at 9:21 is what has the how to on tha back. Just find which one you got ingreidents for and cut it out or and flip the paper over (or jus flip the paper)

I can't saw I agree with letting children play with resin no matter how small the amount is.

I think it'll be nice if MGA write the colours of the resin we got in the packaging, because if someone opening these for the first time and never watched any review videos, they probably wont know the colour & how clear or opaque the resin they got. But I love the concept, totally will try to get my hands on these!

Hmmm might've needed to let that orange juice resin sit a bit before plopping the whipped cream in. Also if I'm not mistaken sounds like it's UV resin, the little LOL black light flash light might cure it as well. I kind of want to pick some of these up and try them out =o

Warming the little bottles of resin up in a small bowl of warm water makes the resin consistency thinner and you’ll get more product. The little paperboards are either a coaster or placemat.

I would have done the glasses in 2 parts half glass first then resin then the rest the ingredients and resin then leave to set ? Not sure if this would have been better or not ,, but these were really kool 👍🏻

These look awesome, but doesn't resin cause contact allergies? I don't think I would let my kid play with this.

Ok...first of all, the recipe cards are on the back of the check list for each item. The little plastic "knob", in the bag with the tongs, goes in the top of the see-thru plastic round lid, the little "cards", as you called them are actually placemats and the table bottom snaps into the bottom of the ball everything came in and once you put your creation together you can put it on the table and put the lid on it to use it to display your creation! But you guys are doing great for not having found the recipe cards! 😁

If you plan to do these again, you should get a uv lamp at the dollar store. Then you can cure them right at the table in about a minute or two. Also an xacto knife or box cutter works great to open those little resin bottles! You guys seems really hesitant about using resin but you did great! Also recipe cards are on the back of of the check list.

Boy you must have had a rude awakening when you realized she had something nice and messy. LOL come on Paul. The whole idea of this is that it's a craft involving resin you can't just not show people or explain to them how it works you're a toy reviewer for gosh sakes.

Following the instructions is very important with this. Obviously you didn't do that you're not supposed to dump the resin on top of everything there's a process.

I'm wondering if they ever figured out that the instructions were on the back of the checklist; Paul even looked at them but didn't register what they were when he opened the smaller one. The tables click into the bottom part of the ball and the clear dome fits over for display, the ball thing that comes with the tongs fits into the clear dome for a handle.

I love the mini food part of it, but I'm not trying to mess around with resin. It's too bad they're blind. I'd get the waffles and pancakes and toast and leave the drinks.

Maybe the tongs would work for peeling the resin tab and arranging the mini food. ❤

Super interesting concept, but I'm kinda a sucker for how things look unresined. All those cute little food items and packaging is so adorable, and prob also functional for story telling play.

You guys ask where the recipe is and at 17:03 on the back of the check list it tells you how to make it.

What is the age recommendation 🤔 If that is UV resin it can seriously burn if gets on skin or touched while curing. Also why have MGA returned to plastic bags? Fair enough for one containing resin bottle, but the rest could be paper.

These look really cool. I'm assuming this is UV resin, so you can use a UV torch to set it instead of having to put it in sunlight.

Resin is so incredibly toxic, respirators need to be worn at all times while working with resin, and it’s so dangerous to get on your skin. It pains me to think of all the children who have been exposed to this thinking it was safe because it’s a kids toy😢

Hey Paul and Shannon! I'm so very happy to see you again today! You always bring a smile to my face and I was laughing so hard about the smoothie cool whip, Hilarious. You two always can make me laugh or smile. Those minis are totally awesome! I want to do those, I'll have to find some in our stores. I've been trying to decide what to do for my first resin project and this will be perfect! So anyway, the Strawberry Parfait is my favorite. I love Strawberry anything but Parfaits are my favorite. I can’t choose because I love French Toast, Waffles, and Pancakes. It is 9:04AM in honolulu, Hawaii and I am eating pancakes with my little sister jam she made

My favorite min verse food art kit is the waffles with strawberry and bananas. But of the the food/drinks you got if they were real & fullsize the the breakfast I would eat would be the pineapple orange juice smoothie .

I'm going to guess for better results on the toppings, put the whip cream (and other toppings) on once the resin is halfway set. That way it won't sink.

I love them! I want to collect them all! But I think is a summer toy not winter. Because resin need UV and hot to move in the bottles. I believe the drinks who have decor on top, need to harder a little bit and then, using a drop of leftover place the decor.

Do you need to get the syrup important where you’re gonna put all your stuff on it and the strawberries and the whip cream that’s how you do it I have one before❤❤❤😊😊

I love these! Seems like they could give you a bit more resin though. Apparently at the time of writing this comment though I can’t buy them anywhere except online shipping from Walmart.. for an additional 7 dollars so almost 20 dollars is not worth it to me. I World pick them up for 10 though.
