Maybe it’s just me but…for a line that’s center focus is body diversity yet these new innovative bodies barely have visible differences…miss Blu is literally on a reused body mold, that’s literally just so lazy to me. I hope they improve if they make multiple series

I think Blu’s “thing” above the water bottle is a cooler. Also I do believe there’s a runway trend of purses that look like Chinese resteraunt take out boxes so it probably could be a purse modeled like that.

I originally joined the doll community summer of 2022, and it was because of SH series 1. I was never in the doll community initially, and probably only had a few childhood Barbies at that point. What I loved about SH series 1 was that I could clearly see the quality of the dolls in box- they had inset eyes, extensive articulation, multiple (high quality + detailed) fashions to mix and match, and not to mention total grayscale, which fascinated me immediately. I think I spent 15 minutes in Target that day gawking at them and trying to decide which to get (spoiler, I left with Nicole and Shanelle and by the end of the summer I had the whole line plus a couple of RH girlies too)! Since then, I've been watching RH+SH releases as close as I can, and have been a little disappointed in the quality decrease. I was especially bummed about the loss of a second outfit, because I felt like that upped the quality immensely in comparison to other dolls. The leaks recently not only show the lack of a second outfit, but underwhelming designs that make me grateful to have leftover 'second outfits' that I could dress them up in (but realistically, I don't see myself getting any of the leaked dolls [not for full price, that is]). On a slightly separate note, I wish MGA didn't cancel the 'fashion packs' idea... I'd love to get sick fits for my dolls WITHOUT having to get another new doll that I'm not in total love with. I also don't want to look at one and think 'her name is... Pinkly!' that name sounds like the name for a carnival mascot that's shaped like a pickle, like c'mon now... To conclude, I hope this is just a brief flop era- or that these leaks are an April fool's joke that leaked wayyyy too late. Thank you if you've read my rant/story paragraphs!! The curvy one looks pretty similar to regular Rainbow High dolls. The regular RH dolls are already pretty curvy, so they’d have had to give her an even bigger body to make it noticeable.

I like lilac lane most. Being a taller girl myself it's neat to see dolls with the same difference plus purple is my favorite color 💜 I think this line is a bit generic so you can make your own doll with all the clothes that are already available.

They need to stop introducing new dolls and make more of the core dolls

Love the implication of a more diverse doll line only to have barely noticeable changes in body type and STILL not have proper textured hair and very limited skin tones.

Blue looks like they gave Hali an actual outfit. Don’t need purple i have jr. High Violet. The pink one looks like she's wearing Natasha's dress without the chicken feathers. These are underwhelming. Disappointed in RH this year so far. I'm only going to get Victoria and the Madison twins. Maybe one of series 2 of SH when they get cheap either Zooey or Glitch.

They could of switched the names for them so Lane, Brooke, and Paige and have the colors as the last names

Their names are so random. Next yellow doll named Yelo? Next green doll named Greenna? I think they should get back the second outfit. The accessories and the one simple outfit are not really worth it.

Random name generators, useful if you can't think of names. Also all meh. Probably won't get any of them. Just feel like they could have focused on something else that wasn't just dolls for RH. I STILL NEED MORE CLOTHES for them. I want more clothes, I want to dress them up! I don't want to keep getting so many dolls!

Lilac Lane literally looks like Lila Yamamoto's sister 😂 VERY similar hair and skin colour even the eye colour looks the same

Wish we actually had a doll with some actual weight and curves. I started playing borderlands 2 recently and Ellie is a big girl who looks sort of stylish. I think she's overly curvy, but if you wanna do cool rep, that would be lit.

Oh I don't know - they feel like too little too late. What happened to the original ideas and I am not talking about the names? Different body types - Barbie does that already for years. Vitiligo and albinism - Barbie did that before. Shadow High was somewhat very original but there is only so much you can do with all shades of black and grey. I rather have more of the original characters than seeing even more new characters that begin to look alike. but for now I don't feel like buying any of the recently announced dolls.

Pinkly is very gorgeous to me, I have this thing for dresses with big bows, her color is gorgeous. But her name is something alright. Maybe change her name to Phoenix, Phoebe, or Penelope.

Pinkly should have been named Joan, or Hollow or something like that as she reminds me of Joan Holloway, in mad men.

Welp, I saw a couple shadow high too & NONE of these dolls interest me so far. That's OK, I still have many past dolls that I haven't got yet. And of course Sunny & Luna pack.

The tall purple science doll is my least fav of the 3. I think I just kind of like the accessories 😂. The pink 1 is only tempting to me for the pet which god I hope it looks better in person 😂🤞😬😉. The skater is my fav I like the cast on the arm & the skateboard. I also like the shoes & socks. I don’t know why Mattel & mga are dressing skaters in skirts/dresses though cause yea back in the day when I was 1 I never skateboarded without wearing pants cause if you fall off what a nightmare mess to deal with & clean up 😒

All of these new RH dolls are some of the worst they have made.

Lilac and Pinkly to me have the least thoughtful names. There are a few actresses with the name Blu, so that one makes more sense. If they really wanted to go for color names, Coral might have been a better alternative to Pinkly - Coral Paige. Lilac... I feel like they're looking for a shade of purple that isn't on the doll. The sweater's lilac, but we already had Lila who was meant to be lilac. Something that evokes the color without being the color would work better, or at least a color word that is a common name in some language. Her hair's a royal purple, so Laine Royale? I dunno. The dolls are cute, but I'm feeling y'all with the seeming lack of creativity in the names for both these and the new SH dolls. Also kind of sad we don't have a proper hunter green doll. Jade Hunter is a lighter green than either of her names imply, and I'd love a true dark green-themed doll. There are so many pink dolls in the recent lines, and so few greens and yellows. Or a brown-themed doll, with like an equestrian theme. Something we haven't seen a lot of, or at all.
