This year, the winning bid was above eight thousand euros by Kevin Vella, after four bidders were in the running for quite some time (usually the majority of bidders withdraw after the first couple of rounds). There were four groups participating in this year's bidding, family Vella (Halman), Kevin Vella, Tal-Ahmar and Charles il-Perkins for Zebbiegh group, who had won last year.
