Why? Not really a good idea. No hate to him, he's cool. He uses a sorta outdated Megaminx and used to use the Yuxin Red, which are pretty old, and most people don't use them. He also uses the GTSM as his 5x5 main, and most people agree that the Valk is better by a longshot. No hate to him, of course, but it's kinda not smart to go of one person's specifications.

I have the pro shop mgc 5x5 and it’s my main over the valk and it feels like an upgraded aochuang gts m and I actually average slightly faster on it than on my valk

On the 5x5, how did u fix the lock up so easily??! Mine locked up and i had to spend like 999 years to take out some pieces and put them back in

Tightening up the cube half a turn on each centers prevents internal pops and lockups

the magnets on my 5x5 was extremely strong but seemed to loosen up when i lubed it and broke it in. dont know how the physics of that works but thats my experience now its AMAZING

I just tightened my mgc 6x6 and it turned out really well in terms of reduced lockups, of course I lubed it as well

A few years later, when I got this cube, the innermost layers felt scratchy, tight, and generally hard to turn. I loosened it and the cube exploded. Well, for the price I guess the cube was okay, but in long run, I had to buy a better 6x6

I just got a Yj MGC 5x5 from speedcubeshop with the setup services and the spring noise is pretty loud. Is this common with the MGC 5x5 or did I just get one with really loud springs? It's pretty annoying to solve when all I can hear is loud spring noises when I turn it...
