I like Eminem I just don't respect him as an artist anymore. If he would have a purpose in his music besides dissing and staying relevant he would be respected more
@@StrykeZone2023 honestly at this point I only like when em disses people. I don’t care to hear his sheltered opinion on shit. Stick to what he does best. Bodying people.
@@Kanjo_Bazooie yeah, don't see how people say he found his sound, his rap is far better. But ig stupid stans outrightly reject his rap music so he has to create his fake punk persona to attract new listeners. OGs know he's more till I die than a my ex's best friend
@@adyan5453 man it’s so sad that people like you don’t get that he’s been playing Blink 182 covers live since like 2011. There’s nothing fake about the punk/rock stuff. It’s always been who he is. He had a punk band in middle school and ended up rapping instead cause that’s what people supported in his neighborhood.
@@killakaminski oh yeah, that makes sense, he is versatile but I guess it's just ,y personal opinion that his rap is better- I felt like it's more timeless than punk. I liked the rock/alternative style that resonated in some hotel diablo tracks too, like in comparison to TTMD. I felt like that was more him- the ttmd aesthetic is obviously still tailored to bring a larger fanbase to his music considering the kind of experiments he does. Even papercuts for example feels more him- while ttmd was also punk, rock/grime/rap feel more original from him.
Hey Stevie, check out his tracks, Breaking News and Chip Off The Block, assuming you haven't yet that is. Also, his live performance of Blue Skies at Park Ave CDS.
Just cause of the beef with em, people be putting down MGK , but trust me dive into his music like you did em, you will gain more and more respect for MGK, he is really similar to em too.
@DAVID Same they're both among my favorite artists, the hating part of Ems fanbase though makes me feel embarrassed to call myself a fan sometimes lol they act like children. But for real, I found him back in high school in like 2012. I feel like most people who are like "I've never heard of this guy before the beef" are either not fans of rap or just trying to make him look worse
@DAVID He definitely sounds nothing like Em though idk who would think that. He has a completely different set of styles and skills and genres etc. He paved his own lane quite well
@DAVID Yeah I get what you mean he kind of has that similar aggression Em will so often eap with. I love it, makes the words hit harder. I think thats why NF gets the comparison a lot. That and he also just more physically SOUNDS like him as in just his voice if you get what I mean. Kells raspy voice at least gives him a more versatile sound
"Chip Off The Block" "Breaking News" "Till I Die (1&2)" "Young Man" "The Gunner" "See My Tears" "The Return" and "Edge Of Destruction" Every track fire as hell.
Edge of Destruction is dope as fuck with Tech N9ne and Twista Till I die is dope with Bone Thugs feature Chip off The Block is what put his name out there for the Talk Yo Shit moments Stevie Knight, lets get these poppin bro!
Bruh mgk’s old stuff when he was coming up is incredible just before he was famous. You gotta check out that stuff because he was in his bag the best during those days🔥🔥👏 Im an em fan but mgk reps t’f outta our city.
Hahaha. LOVE the reaction to this. 😂 Happy that I came across it. MGK is sooo good. Glad to see some people's eyes are opening up. Also, have to say that I've seen this man perform live and it's probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Insane. I wish Em and MGK would squash everything, cause honestly the two of them on a track together would actually be CRAZY. I have absolutely loved Eminem for a little more than two decades (I'm old lol), but when MGK came along, I was like hmmm... 'alright, alright. I see you, I hear you.'. Would be hard for me to write him off just because I've been an Em 'stan' from the beginning 😂🙂🤷♀️.
"if you aint livin you life than you dead, and sleep was his cousin so i shot my bed" This is the hardest nas reference. so much respect for one sentence.
As Em's Ringer mentions "you mention me, millions of views"....could not hold more true here. This video is 5 months old on a popular channel and has less than 60k views. Em is my favorite rapper but thanks to his beef with MGK, I've come to really respect this kid and wish him nothing but the best. Plus this song is just fucking fire and is proof he deserves way more respect and this video should have way more views.
I am a huge MGK fan and the reason people don't know he can bar this shit up is because they dissed him because of the EM beef. People should not take sides and one should be heard and you decide what track is good or not.
I'm really curious about the fact that word is that Em was key in MGK and G-Eazy ending their beef. I wonder if Em will ever give him a chance and talk it out. And of course, a track with both of 'em would be fuckin fire 🔥
I don’t understand how your channel doesn’t have a million subscribers. You are hands down the best reaction channel. Keep doing your thang and talk yo shit homie! Hope you’ve had a blessed day my brother! Keep up the grind homie🔥🔥🔥
hardest mgk song that I know of ! who knows any other bangers like this please tell me !! really dope reaction Stevie, the way u was feeling this song !!
Can't wait for more MGK man. You should do Breaking News (the 1st one, it's an older song but it's 🔥) Other cool tracks: Chip Off The Block, Smoke and Drive (there are way more, named a few)
I wasn't into hip hop until I bumped into MGK. I'm a die-hard grunge, stoner rock and Mike Patton fan. I like insane stuff and this kid's a f***** genius, man
so since this song his aunt(mothe figure) passed and told him to talk to his dad, he reconciled with his dad but earlier this year his dad passed from cancer, he wrote a song on the new album "lonely" with reference to his dad
I remember seeing this kids music back in the day, way before he blew, way b4 wild boy. I knew this kid was gonna be something, it's been a wild ride seeing his growth & progression. Glad he's finally getting some recognition & respect for his talent. Cause this guy is insanely talented
Go alllll the way back to the beginning and React to 100 words and running. That's one of his first ever freestyle/remixes. Fire reaction as always Stevie! 🔥🔥🔥
I'm with you on that one Stevie shout out to MGK for doing what no one dared to do by going at the Goat and there's no denial that MGK has a talent and I listen to him and a bunch of other rappers and patiently waiting for Eminem to drop something hihi keep up the good work mate
Just found you a couple weeks ago and I think you’re gonna blow up soon brotha. Keep the energy & content up and I see you getting a mili subs by the end of 2021 🍾
That shit was mostly trash bro lol. He just threw that album together cuz his name was hot from the Em shit. I fuck with old MGK but he fell off imo until he started releasing shit after covid
You know recently I heard oh, I must like what you hear that he emitted Eminem made him change genres, but I really don't think that's true I think he was always heading in that direction like I said he's multi-talented and he can rap. It's just that Eminem is a Doctrine level like you say and I hate to compare them oh, but you kind of have to oh, I mean no disrespect I love MGK, this kid is amazing , he loves his daughter. That makes him so much more in my eyes. Mia I tip my hat off to you.
I keep those on repeat since I discovered him through his beef with Em. He certainly has talent, that's why I think Em spanked him. Not killed him. I'm happy with both!
Same. I really think Em didnt want to end his career :) Edit: Also look at my photo xD I was an Em fan and now because of the beef I found MGK and put that there!
@@snowyto646 True, I think he only dissed him in the first place because MGK been talking shit for years, but for sure Em knows MGK ain't no mumble rapper. Em just had to put him in place, you know. MGK is dope.
Also “only fear two things with three letters dog” was a callback to the verse about his dad sayin he isn’t afraid of his dads opinion anymore. Feel like that one goes over peoples heads to often
Love your reactions brutha, the two things i like the most is that you took the time to learn about music and 2nd. You give respect where is due, you didn't say mgk was wack simply cuz he got killed by Em. You still showed him respect and that's wassup. Keep it up, God Bless
@@King_Midas_Touch fr Mac was about to be the next big thing. I stop hearing Mac since kids but I got back to hearing him since the Devine feminine sucks he passed away
@@daddyarty3540 I get what you mean but he was already the big thing, just under appreciated. His body of work before he died was huge. It's a shame! Not gonna lie though, haven't full on listened to Thoughts from a Balcony really at all, and I have nearly his whole discography on my iPod. Old school iPod that it is haha!
Stevie said "he always bars like this?" sadly yes bro... he is dope tbh his voice and flow is crazy and to me thats his best song EVER idk why he never got caught on peoples radars! you should listen to the gunner by MGK sick as fuhh too!
He has barred like this on occasion but it is certainly not something he does consistently. What chance he had he killed when he dropped Binge. He got the attention he wanted from Em then dropped a 9 track album with the only banger being Rap God which was heard a million times by that point. Instead of making sure he put out the best he could to capitalize on the situation he seemingly rushed through the project just to get something out regardless of being good or not. Hotel Diablo was decent but he already took a giant dump while everyone was watching and I don't think anyone bothered with him since.
If there is a MGK week these are must do songs 1. Roulette 2. Breaking News 1&2 3. The Gunner 4. Oz 5. World Series or Spotlight (must be the audio) (All his freestyles are insane Funkflex 1, LA Leakers, Tim westwood part 1&2 or Fire in the booth
