that is the reason why I never wanted to succeed in my job, spend day and night at work. I rather stay a simple employee, do 9am-6pm at work and then spend the rest of my time with my kids and my wife.
A lot of parents, especially those in the spotlight don't want their children to be in the spotlight and want them to grow up normal, which is why this is so heartbreaking because he clearly loves his daughter so much but it's hard for her to have privacy and a normal life with her dad being a famous musician.
The moment he was talking to his daughter at the table stopped my heart. This man undoubtedly loves his baby more than anything. He respects her, loves her, values her emotions, and is such a natural father. To see the way he includes her in his life even when hes with his friends, they're all infected with his love for her and cant help but join in on hyping her up too
It was the group of grown men dancing in the parking lot with her and cheering her own that did it for me. That was the purest thing ever, none of them cared about anything else but making her happy and dancing and making her feel normal

He's raising his daughter better than my father raised ME... And my father wasn't even famous... I had a father that was around while growing up... (But, that is, as I was repeatedly told, what ruined his life...) Damn... This guy is an amazing person and a better father. This made ME cry, NOT cause I am mad I had a shitty father... But because I am so HAPPY that there ARE fathers out there like him and daughters that can be raised knowing that they really ARE loved. I fucking LOVE this guy... Because? He's an actual, really awesome, person. Not just because, yeah he's talented & relatable... (and also Irresponsibly hot...) A damn GOOD person who can't even hide it. It's always warmed my heart knowing that he's a great father, just like Em is. My two favorite rappers may come across as mean but they're putty in their daughters hands.

It must be hard for him sometimes--I think the clip with him explaining she'd be embarrassed for her teachers to see his tattoos is a pretty good example of the stereotypes that come with him being who he is, and a dad at such a young age.
@Lone imvu He is doing exactly that. It‘s important for kids to to have their parents be on the same level with them. You can be a parent and a best friend, one does not exclude the other. And it‘s not harmful at all, quite the opposite. Casie will benefit from her dad, so much. She‘s really lucky.

I just love how tough he acts but he has a soft spot for his daughter. He generally feels bad for not being able to take her out for her safety. I love how Colson doesn't ever let her look dusty when they go out even though he may not have the best confidence in himself. He's such a softie.

She grew up in an environment which wouldn't be considered as "ideal", with a famous dad who takes drugs n shit, BUT you just know that she had and has the best childhood one can give a child. And that is because she grew up LOVED

That’s somethin I noticed right away, too. It’s clear he took some sorta class on how to care and style black hair. Hella dads don’t bother even if their baby girl has a texture they already know inside and out.

Like my child's dad, who maybe hasnt always been the safest/sanest of role models, I think its important for a child to still have both parents in thier life..props to the momma too that saw this, and has nurtured thier relationship to be the best possible outcome❤
