i see the “look at how i raised these kids up” as a triple: 1. his literal child & megans sons 2. the whole generation of kids he “raised” through his music 3. treating these other rappers like his sons
I like Eminem, but I do appreciate MGK's references to killshot and how he was missed. He never went down, has stayed successful in music in general, and he's being given huge props now for the rap he's currently putting out. The Stan viewpoint on their beef is annoying because all of the claims about him being ruined have always been BS.
@Ryan Stanford he can do whatever he wants out of all the people em dissed on kamikaze he was the only one with the balls to step up. Also pretty sure he dropped hotel Diablo after that. Then didn't go rock till way later. Also he's always been into punk an shit anyway.😂
Post Malone had the biggest impact after Eminem, you're confusing one white rapper with another. I know Post Malone mashes different genres but still what you're saying is utter nonsense
That's the MGK ive been waiting for.... MGK is only rapper that took shots from EM ..... ...and didnt drop the fuk out. Well done, MGK... .....well done. -|-
The reason you caught some flak was a bit on yourself too your way of portraying your misscontent was a bit ignorant to be honest it felt very biased in the way you worded yourself in that video and there was actually a dillon brooks bar in renegade that i personally felt you aint gave that much props for when literally all top tier bar heavy reaction channels all saw as a top tier bar both overall and for mgk personally i like both mgk and Eminem but the renegade reaction feöt forced and like you felt you wasted your time like you was annoyed almost
Glad you liked it.😊 I like this one a lot looking forward to an album. Hope it's this and maybe some deeper tracks. Glad kells rappin again. I liked the freestyles but I respect your opinion. Sometimes it hits different on the track. Appreciate you Cliff😊 also y'all need to chill in these comments. Act like somebody came at the fam. Just opinions people. No ones gotta watch. Good lord🤣
Stand are still stick in the false narrative he left rap?!? The beef was on 2018, in 2019 he released his masterpiece Hotel Diablo album and in 2020 the legendary lockdown sessions! Then so many collabs
You are obviously not a Stan. Stans give MGK no credit at all. You’re good man. After killshot he released “Hotel Diablo” which is his best rap album ever in my opinion.
Ok are people saying mgk is cool because he makes his own style of music or are people trying to really say he has some sort of greatness? It’s confusing hearing him and then a real talent like bo burnham or Ren have a much smaller following yet are light years ahead of this dude in every facet of music
I respect you for being honest on the freestyles. We got into it over the Eminem “Elvis” song but I take back what I said. Been watching since that because we can disagree and still respect each other.
Yeah I don’t listen or follow young thugs life. Didn’t even know dudes in jail. Happens when you watch a real channel that doesn’t study music or kiss an artists ass every chance they get. Song was 🔥 though. 🙏
I don’t either not even a fan TBH but it was a big deal in the community and honestly even just in general due to courts using lyrics as confession so I just kinda assumed you probably knew about it. Keep up the work though I love your channel (I didn’t want you to think I was just a hater lol I just thought that was a dope bar and was shocked you didn’t catch it but that makes sense!)
So ironically I just got the icing/pop tart bar after hearing you talk about not liking it. I thought it was corny too but I wonder if he meant it as a double? Icing (bling) but also icing (i sing) like a pop tart (almost like maybe poking fun at himself for going to punk pop?) probably a stretch lol
@@murder13love naaaaah that’s deffo within in his lyrical capabilities! Whether it was the case here who knows but he’s deffo got some very sneaky doubles and triples so he can do it.
@@Rookslife hmm... he's more of a basic bar bitch these days though.. rotten gf and too many drugs mixed with a moral and mental downfall has really effected him 👎
"Ruuts" Can tell you're from the Midwest! Honesty Cliff, You Suck! JK. I watch 3 reactors, You first, Knox Hill second, and the MrLBoyd. And occasionally, Stevie Knight. (R.I.P. to Roman. OMFG! Dua Lipa? Hell yeah! I would kill to spend a minute with her.
Y'all don't say he's back. He never left. Once again ESTXX spittin fire. So sick i think i got COVID 💥🔥💥🔥 Three flows remind me of REN lets get a collab going !!!! Kells and MGK🤜🤛 You ain't a fan of "I got the icing like a pop tart, I'm spitting fire like a Charizard?" Uhm ok booma. Maybe you didn't know what a Charizard is? Icing and fire... zip... straight over your head So did the bar free Young Thug why is everybody signing like Dua Lipa. Snitching bruh. Whateva. You don't sound tuned in my man. Sorry juss saying
@@Darkstar_Dayne in MGK's defense he would probably stop mentioning it if everyone else did too. So I really don't hold that against him as much as I do with push to start cars which are damn near close to a standard feature in all cars now.
I can appreciate some of the bars . There are some MGK songs that have stuck from the first play for me, but this isn't one of those. If this is a comeback, cool. I'm not here for the rehashing of the Em beef, though. It's like someone harping over an ex that they clearly want clousre from but pretend they don't to save face.
Tbf people were annoyed with you over the last reaction to mgk because you was saying you didn’t like when people called out others. Not because you wasn’t a fan of the song
Ice wife splice twice poltergeist bank hiest vanilla ice mice Christmas pies dislikes traumatised pink eyes obey trice bread knife life strive Ba byes 3 dead mice ties cries hypnotise lies now make a connection to another word to change the rhyme See I can make up nursery rhymes too 😂😂😂😂
"i was a fan of the freestyles, but there was things i didnt like" - Yeah, the fact it came out of mgks mouth :P Its not hate, and you cant help it. People have biases, thats how it be. Youre no less than anybody else. Even if its just simply jumping to conclusions! like the house of dragons bar, where you just rolled your eyes and said how long did GOT come out? If it werent MGK saying it, you wouldnt have even brought it up. Again, no hate, you only do good to this community. Just trying to let you know its not hate, its just pointing out the bias you have against him. Much love from Ny, and if YOU ever need somebody to talk to, feel free to hit me up ;)
Never heard so many weak, unclever bars on trash beats in a long time lololol....em made him leave rap and now Megan made return in the weakest way possible
@@gabrielbailey7518 not really, fucking better than alot of the trash he put out recently that's for sure but come on, those flows are just recycled, he says he won't give sublims, then throws sublims, beat switches were tight but the bars were elementary.. Some good bits but as a whole, old school mgk blows this out the water, glad he's getting back to it though... was a fan until he released a load of mumble rap crap 🤘
You are the best Cliff. I’m lmao. If mgk was as good as everyone ,why the hell is he trying to ride off Em. He talks about Eminem waiting 6yrs for a response look how long it took him. SMH and laughing out loud. 😂
@@PapaChickenBoi I feel like this “corny” argument needs to stop. If we can accept that rap has spanned multi cultural and national then why can’t someone say something we see as silly or stupid? Honestly I think that rap really limits itself if we can’t just say whatever. Like think about all of the bars that we won’t get simply because someone down the line will say they’re corny. At the same time we complain that mainstream all sounds the same while we continue to hold it to its particular sound whether talking about flow patterns or general topics that centralize and popularize bars about gang violence or drugs. Then when we know that any particular artist isn’t about that life we make them a target for ridicule regardless of the fact that our own selfishness and hardheadedness drove them to that particular sound simply because that’s what people continue to say that that’s what they want. All I’m saying is that a lot of people who claim they’re for hip hop and real music are hypocrites because they themselves continue to box in artists to music that isn’t them simply because it doesn’t fit their vision. Edit: I realize that there is a line to some degree in terms of what’s good. When I said that this “corny” argument should stop, I was specifically talking about people who missuse the word corny as if the word itself equates to trash or lack of substance and severity or silliness. In reality being “corny” just means reusing something (in this case a bar, flow, technique, etc.) to the point of staleness. Of course I’m not for any kind of mumble garbage and don’t support nonsensical bars that people use to simply get the rhymes off. Im just saying that in order for rap to expand even further in the realm of creativity we need to be more accepting of these “silly” bars so that we can get away from these common tropes and generalizations.
I don't like M GK because he is fake, nothing about him is real. He says he doesn't need your attention, yet he clamors for everyone's attention. Jack Harlowe didn't mention MGK but he took it personal and felt the need to respond, thus needing attention.
Jack Harlow said he was the best white rapper since EM. That is a diss to any white rapper that has been in the game so much longer. Just because Jack has a bigger frat white boy following doesn't make him a better white rapper. The fact Jack didn't reply to it shows that Jack knew he couldn't compete with MGK.
@@RealMcCoy0205 Actually there was a sub-diss that was aimed at MGK at the start of that song.. "Fuck buffin' my nails, dawg, I'm tryna get buff Fuck shaping my beard up, I'm liking the scruff" MGK paints his nails and said EMs beard is weird. But again you can't claim to be the best white rapper without backing it up if other white rappers come at you.. Saying you are the best rapper is what everyone expects ALL rappers to say because you are in rap supposed to say you are the best but saying you are the best white rapper is cringe and will get the attention of other white rappers.
