Darkside the drummer is insanely good. You need to watch this song from the drum cam perspective. Like a wise man once said: "everybody gangsta till Darkside starts hitting the cymbals"
True...when i first saw that and this special, beautiful cymbal part started, it touched me deeply and made me cry, but in a good way. And then, out of the blue, the fairytale "The Star taler" came to my mind. I somehow thought/felt, that in my imagination, it would sound exactly like this, when the stars fall from the sky and turn into gold coins at the end of the story. I never thought about this ever before, the Image popped into my head out of nothing and i will never forget that moment, because it felt magic.
@@klausherbert3040 Grozas new album doesn't sound much Mgla. And Uada has never sounded like Mgla. The only copy thing they might be doing is the hood.
Uada is completely different,my favorites are Cult Of A Dying Sun and Snakes And Vultures! Cult Of A dying Sun always takes my mind far, far, faaar awayyy it blew my mind completely,Uada are the greatest black metal band for me! Second favorite is Behemoth!🤟🤟🤟
Apocalypticists album is epic but my favorite Kriegsmaschine song is Lies of the Fathers from Enemy of Man. The riff that starts at 2min is so fucking powerful.
Started listening to this release from MGLA yesterday. Sorry I'm a late bloomer when it comes to awesome music, but this track especially stood out. Amazing. Please keep up the reviews for underground metal.
Haha, you really need to see the drum cam video of this song! You really touched it in your discussion but you can never imagine how crazy it looks seeing and hearing him playing it at the same time. It is a very popular drum cam video, sure you find it after one try here on youtube.
Can't believe it took so long for you to listen to a Mgla song. They are amazingly good but the lyrics can be hard to decipher. Darkside (the drummer) is one of a kind - he has a drum cam for this song and also a youtube channel where he uploaded some drills since there were people saying the songs are double layered and he can't play them live. Age of Excuse 2, Groza 4, Exercises in Futility 1 and 6 - definitely worth a listen. The songs on the albums don't have a particular name, they're just numbered :)
Haha, wonderful and finally more Mgla! Hearing you talk about how the drummer drums: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wcsTJ1n2jkE.html Hearing you talk about how the drums are driving the music: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bSWTVOx4hJ4.html Kriegsmaschine is their other band, drummer and guitarist/vocalist is the same, it's just more groove/drum driven :) Mgla is amazeballs though, there's plenty more where that came from!
This one brought a close friend of mine to the genre of Black Metal! Normally he isn't familiar with Black Metal, but he's on the best way discoring all the jewels!
Been to three black metal festivals in Poland, there is no need to be a critique, but in the track Begemoth are very similar, but the introduction is the level of the Father of the genre !! I really respect
Guy on the left looks like he doesn't get a sense of that kind of music 😂 Smiles like it was skate-punk band like fucking Offspring. He didn't even know what to say. Real black metal smashes you with a wall of sound, dense atmosphere and leads you into the trance. It's not positive music. I can't imagine someone could truly understand BM and smiles while listening it. It's like smiling on someone's funeral.
Varg Vikinrnes and his Love filled the hearts, this composition is definitely a masterpiece, like all Black Metal in Poland, I was at 4 festivals there, at least 40 teams for 3 days
I don’t know what I said, Varg Vikirnes, about this track, but I can only say that while this is the only band worthy of the level of true Black Metal there are many intersections in music with Burzum, and this is good, just a new level of development !!!
I think it's supposed to be sort of monotonous, and hypnotic. However the cymbals / drums add some flavour to it. They nailed it, the atmosphere of the song is awesome.
