FYI - You did 14 spins w/ $10x2 and 17 spins (including the loss) w/ $25x2. If tier credits are awarded proportionally between the bets and not weighted heavier for larger bets, you are earning 3.67 TC per $ coin in. Math for the geeks: (20x14)X + (50x17)X=4146. Solve for X. Messing around: it would take 273 $20 spins to earn 20K TC. Tier accelerator would get you 20K more. 136 more spins (409 total) would get you to the 50K needed to make Gold during a tier match challenge. Or, 545 spins to get 40K TC + 60K TC accelerator to get Gold in a day w/o a tier match. Apx. 7 and 9 hours of play time, respectively.

That is some great break down , thank you! the accelerator is just not worth it , when i was going this it was the multiplier and worked out way better. But i fear we may not see the multiplier back as they seem to be cutting rewards not expanding

@@GambleTheGlobe So, assuming you had a 2x multiplier, it would then take apx. 818 $20 spins via the tier accelerator bonus + status match challenge to achieve Gold in a day. Maybe next year they'll bring back multipliers. I loved the 10x Caesars had and hope they do it again. Although I'm thinking of waiting to requalify every other year because your status carries over for a year.

Really it should not work, off setting bets should not be possible, But seems there are certain machines that it does work on. Part 2 has more than i have found at mgm grand and aria.

Thank you for watching jamie, the accelerator math is not good unless you can get the top bonus after earning 20k tier credits in 24 hours. But if you can make it to that level the bonus is an amazing 60k! good luck !

@@flacostarr as long as the offsetting bets are enabled on the machine then yes. i have seen the same machines at other casinos but not had checked them all.

I agree the 2x is way better promo than the current one. Just a heads up for people with joint accounts...current promo will not combine points on both cards so just use one persons card!! Heading there in 2 weeks so I need part 2 sir!!!!

Great video Dave. I believe I saw MGM are now matching or multiplying tier credits. I am not a fan of this. It has the same smell that Caesar's did with the 5x tier multiplier days. Allows more people to hit get up to the next tier level easier. That is nice, but like Caesar's, the more that go up, the offers and perks will go down. I hope MGM continues to maintain a more generous way than Caesar's.

The current promotion is a bonus tier credits if you earn so many in an 24hr period , the regular 2x bonus is much better math wise unless you can earn 20k in a day to get the big bonus. I think the program needs fixing a little more to avoid being just like Caesars , thanks for watching!!

Im all bout leveling up. Im a small time player. I went up to gold with MGM with tier matching from Caesars Diamond. The no resort fees alone is where its at for me. Other than that, theres really nothing else that I benefit from lol.

@@Rogerw714 100% agree no resort fees are the best benefit till you get the cruise at platinum. But really most mid to low level players can make gold , but need a little help like this. It’s not the best grind , since there is no chance at a return. but there is a good chance of earning and breaking even. Which is better than almost any other way i have found.

@@Rogerw714 I agree. I just switched from Caesars as diamond plus as well and i really just want the room (basic even), no fee and the free valet since i drive there all the time. I noticed though with Caesar's the offers went down dramatically once that 5x's was implemented.

Would it make any difference if you had two cards and you played two different machines and bet black on one and red on the other? Would this work on other machines to get around the offsetting bet issue. Thanks, very interesting strategy but it's harder to earn to your credits this year without the multipliers in place

Hey rick, if you think about it on a real table. and betting two wheels at once, you could lose on both wheels if they land on the opposite you bet. Off setting bets narrow the chances of a lose to just the 0-00.

Thanks, just looking for a way to get some good tier credits, going to be tough for me to maintain platinum based on the new rules and the fact that they are not going to have any multipliers the rest of the year it seems as I see they extended the accelerator bonus till the end of 2023.

dave i go to vegas maybe 2-3 tops a year , how long or rather how much should i grind this every trip , trying to establish my status for mgm

that’s a totally up to you question. I do not recommend doing grinds for status or comps, but if you are gonna do it , stay in your budget, play as long risk games as you can , like the roulette machine with off setting bets to have the best chance at not losing.

Nope it’s gone but the mgm grand still has the other one in the video and it still works got over 1000 tc with a $100 play but I had to leave so didn’t have time to grind it out

thiers gotta be a love hate relation ship with this and casinos lol their making alot of free money but their also losing it.... xD also how many credits do you even make per bet the point total on the little screen isnt going up which i thought were rewards points but now im not so sure? this is the question im trying to find an answer too also got to the end and im editing this** i thought you could earn rewards credits with roulette?

Tier points advance you up the status chain, pearl to gold to platinum. These levels have many advantages such as gold is no resort fees, and platinum gets you a cruise and flight credit. Comp points , can be used for discounted or free rooms, food, amenities and also will yield more free play as you spend. Thanks for watching!

also is that really a bonus game inside the actual game? how does it work cause obviously outside bets dont trigger it does it have to be a straight up bet or will splits work? i may have to rethink how to do this if thats the case theirs actually a way to make money doing this just need to figure it out

There is no way to make money as they are just off setting bets which return approx 42% if your bet in tier credits. If you figure out a way please let me know! good luck!

I think a better method would be to play high limit slots for $100 a spin, as the points are so much higher than the table games. But good theories and great thinking the angles.

I've seen video poker machines that have a roulette game option. Are those roulette games counted as a slot machine (1 credit for $5 play) or as video poker (1 credit for $10 play)?
