Support edepot's quest to make quality videos. Many other youtube creators resort to attacking other channels, rather than make interesting content. Jealousy and dirty tricks (fake accounts, fake comments, lies about other channels, etc) drives their goal for views, while you can always count on edepot to make great content. A secret about Paz room is mentioned by the soldiers on the base. When 2 patrols meet each other, they have facts' discussion. Enemies usually speak about how someone like Big Boss came back around and so on. On the base, once you have unlocked the door to Paz's room and haven't finished the series of mission, sometime, a soldier will ask the other one on the first medical platform. It's something alike to "Why does the Boss move to the platform facing south and stay there while speaking to himself?" The other answer "Don't think about it. It's one of his thing."
Creations Maxo The soldiers also speak about Big Boss going in the platforms without anything being in it. I think thats what the soldiers were talking about.
Yeah, they mention him "watching over construction" too, when they talk about this. Bummed me out when I realized this, that Paz is really, truely dead.
Sees a box doesn't check inside to see if anyones in there "Boss I knew you were alive" and continues to stand there for the rest of eternity because the box turns out to be empty
I like how the game tries to trick you by showing you another helicopter firing a missile to make you think Paz *is* alive. Clever, Hideo, very clever........
Also Venom’s shadow is impossible. The only light source is clearly from the window behind Paz’s bed, but the shadow is being cast from the corner near the sink, where there is no light source. The shadow is also projected in a way where it’s looming very conspicuously over Paz. Venom is of course a shadow himself.

+cloud12348 She CAUSED the crash, Venom Snake, the medic, had repressed guilt over his inability to save Paz, since he only spotted one bomb, however, she awakened and leaped out of the helicopter in an attempt to save those in the chopper before her bomb exploded in mid-air, killing her instantly and wounding Kaz even further, and sending both the medic (Venom Snake), and Big Boss into a coma.
The interior cell for that room exists but the codes are unintentionally messed up with the exterior cell - the supply drops are despawned when they hit the hitbox where the room is and appear inside, so the counter would keep spawning them until the player refreshes.

Holy shit, I just realised that for the first Paz scene, that the entire hallucination was Venom's brain subconsciously telling him that he's hurt and he isn't Snake. The whole spiel of the Dissociative Amnesia and Dissociative Personality Disorder of "Denying what has happened beyond a certain point" and "thinking she's someone else" is actually directed to the player about Venom and who he actually is. Gotta love Kojima.
Valor Vanguard yeah it does but in all honesty though it was easy to know your not the real big boss from the get go because in the hospital the doctor said they couldnt remove the material that was in your head but at the end of metal gear solid 4 big boss showed up with nothing in his head

You can tell which of the people commenting haven't actually closed out this plotline. I recall the game made it fairly clear Venom Snake hallucinated the whole thing. Ocelot's hallucinated explanation of Paz's disorder applies to Venom Snake himself.
UniteAnonymous venom snake is actually the doctor on the chopper who made surgery, he failed to notice the second explosive inside paz's womb and she died. Venom snake hallucinates every paz scene we see on the game in order to be able to cope with himself and his failure.

@@Equasi Venom is the doctor. Venom Snake is what people use to refer to the doctor when he becomes "Big Boss". Venom Snake is not the same person as Naked Snake. Also he is in Africa not America :p He is building Outer Heaven.
If you finished the Paz side story, you get the 5th dairy where "Paz" reveals that she is only what "Big Boss" thinks she is, and that she is not real.
That's really awesome that even if you pay attention to the architecture of the base you can figure out the Paz room isn't even real. Yet I never picked up on that my whole playthrough. It's just a door leading outside and he's imagining a room there on that balcony. Freaking hidden in plain sight.

Oh my God!!! From the entire time I played the game, I always was asking myself why that door leads nowhere. From the inside of Paz room there's no door in that direction and on the outside you can see the symbol of peace painted on the door. I just never put it together. Damn! Kojima does it again.

Game came out in 2015 lol. This isn't one of those "back then" or "games use to actually have content and give us a lot instead of dlc bullshit". Microtransactions and no creativity was already going on. It wasn't even new. This wasn't filled with it because it was a huge AAA franshise, and that stuff didn't fit in it. If you really think this was one of the last games to do something like this you must be young, naive or delusional.
The things this game could've been had Konkani given Kojima complete freedom..... It was amazing in the format we got it in, I can't imagine what it would've been.

The game was so amazing as it was too. They pretty much made Kojima wrap it up and push it out. God it's such a shame we won't get another Kojima backed MGSV. He's the one that pushed so many features and so much detail into the games. But I genuinely hope Konami does good things with the series.

You actually get more stuff from paz after you collect all of the mb soldiers, each one gives you another picture to show her. After you give her all of them then go in 1 more time for the actual secret.
Every single song does something unique I think. Most are still hidden. If you notice, some songs have names in title telling you what they activate... Horse, Noon, etc

I discovered Paz room didn't exist by pure chance, throwing many decoys at Paz's door. Then when I left by chopper in that same platform and I saw with great surprise that the arm of the decoy could be seen through the door outside.
Realizing death of Paz is actually closely linked to Venom Snake's identity crisis, so it is actually himself trying not remembering (or being brain washed) the fact, to keep his identity as snake valid.
callmewisdom I see you haven't actually looked into the story at all. Mgsv is full of story if you know it's between mgs1 and peacewalker, it also cuts a lot of loose ends and if you include mission 51 and all the tapes it's full of story. Even so there isn't much left to tell seeing how MGSV is pretty much the last game story wise. Everything is pretty much set in place unless they make more games about raiden.
I noticed that with about, the second photo that I gave her, I was like "wait, why did it disappear? Kojima you rascal", never thought about it being a hallucination until the end.
Pretty sure she just shows up after you do that mission I could just enter the room at some point after someone else on youtube hinted that you should do it, btw she is at the top of the medical platform the light above the outside door is on.
I really love the MGS Series but honestly..I don´t get it anymore. I didn´t understand Phantom Pain at all. Do I have to play Peacewalker first to get some of the history/plot in Phantom Pain?
Anyone consider that Ocelot and Miller may have set this up in order to force BB to face his own mental problems, half of what they say to him in the cutscene is pretty accurate as to his own situation, another form of controlling him or reigning in his guilt perhaps

You can't normally select weapons or items but if you go in to first person mode with the INT scope, you can select your NVG and they will remain on when you leave first person mode.
Honestly if you completed Paz's storyline, you'd know they explain how she, her room, and the events that happened in that room were all a hallucination.
If you think about it. Makes sense that Big Boss wouldn't hallucinate Paz or atleast Paz wont be the only Phantom he saw. I think Venom hallucinated Student Paz who thought Peace day happened was a amalgamation of his feelings for mother base. He wanted Peace Day to happened, he wanted to go back to when times were fun and great, He wanted Paz's betrayal to never happen, and most of all, he wanted not fail at finding the other bomb. He wanted peace and Paz the student was the symbol for that yet reality began sinking in. He started remembering things as they really were. Paz was a spy for Cipher, Mother Base along with many of his comrades are gone, and that he was NOT Big Boss. Peace Day never happened nor will he get to see it.

Ground Zereoes ending was a great hit for me (Paz is one of my fav. MGS characters before solid snake era, with Ocelot and Big Boss too), and when I found out that it was just an illusion was and harder pain. 😅😢

I don't know if anyone notice this, but I have two female soldiers in the medical platform, sometimes one of them, tell me something in the lines of "whoever you're, I'll still follow you", it's like she did knew Venom Snake is not the real Big Boss, like how?
