Pretty happy with the run. ending was a little sloppy and probably costed me the sub 6 but that's okay. honestly master rank almudron isn't as bad as people say. atleast for glaive, since you can actually chase him down. kinsect slash was a little annoying to deal with in this fight due to him being slender and moving around alot. the most annoying attacks for him are probably when he sits there in the mud and does his own thing. it's a good opportunity to hit the anomaly cores on his fore legs and head tho. overall not as annoying of a fight as i thought it would be anyway thank your for watching and have a good night!

Nice run! I personally think Almudron's not so bad, Magmadron though, my all time favourite monster in Sunbreak

really? honestly i haven't fought him in a long time so maybe he is better than almudron. i'm kinda excited to get to him because amatsu glaive is going to tear him to shreds. thank you for watching.btw

Perhaps I'm rather biased because I grinded to Lv300 spamming Magmadron, so I kinda know his moveset pretty well ahaha Just my opinion, could be widely different for others because of the magma it spews everywhere

@@sidew37 that's fine if he's your favorite. alot of people hate almudron but i like him more than most of the monsters from base rise roster. honestly there were alot of questionable ones they made before sunbreak. while cool, alot of them just had awkward weakspots or weird goofy ahh movesets that could be on par with worlds ai. for the most part tho almu has a place in my heart. he was actually the 1st monster i spedrun is base rise. 🤣

I noticed you used jumping advancing slash on valstrax and kinsect slash on anything else. Is jumping advancing slash too slow to be viable on anything else? It seems like it would a better skill to use if you're going for element.

the only reason i used jumping advancing on val was due to him having very big weak spots. i can get most of the hits on the wings decently easy. most other monsters just don't have as big of weakspot as that so typically it's just kinsect slash due to that reason. helicopter is actually also viable on something like amatsu, narwa and ibushi too. for the most part tho kinsect slash is the best atleast for me since it's much faster at getting to a fully powered diving wyvern much faster
