I love the fact that All For One predicts the state of the world perfectly while his dark theme plays. It really shows how much control he has and how deep his plans go.
All for One and All Might just having a convo face to face was so sick back then. Seeing where AfO is now in the manga is just... Insane. Everything went according to plan for him
Sometimes Villains with no higher motivations beyond ‘I did it because I wanted too’ or ‘I did it simply because I could’ can be the most terrifying like Green Goblin for example.
Evil for evil's sake is terrifying in itself, mainly because it removes any perceived nuances that foolish sympathizers want to project onto a villain to make them less evil. The villain themselves would be offended and choose to do wrong not because they think it's right, but because they enjoy doing immoral things.
Out of all the villains in this series, AFO is the only one who is evil for evil's sake. The league of villains were all wronged by society and the Liberation Front and the Humanizers want to change the world for their version of better. AFO just wants to be an eternal prince of darkness and that's it.
@@JoeFanik which is refreshing. Sometimes it’s good to just have a villain who’s evil because he wants to be. No specific causes or reasons, just pure old evil.
Isnt the reason AFO became a villain literally because he read a comic about a demon lord with his brother?? He literally envisions himself as that demon lord. Which proves hes just pure evil
@@Sconechoc That's not entirely true, AFO harbored an intense hatred for Kudo. AFO needed someone who wasn't as emotionally shallow as himself. That's where Tomura comes in.
Came back from a certain chapter, because I wanted to see All Mights impressive and determined face. He truly is the symbol of peace and his expression with those shining blue eyes show his strength despite him losing One For All and a healthy body. People shudder by his willpower similar to how AFO and Stain made other people nearby afraid by their sheer presence.
And yet, when you actually think about it, AFO’s desire to become the greatest villain is basically the same reason Deku wanted to become the greatest hero. AFO admired villains, and Deku admired heroes, but unlike Deku, AFO was born with the power to make his dream a reality. Shigaraki is more like the inverse of All Might more so than AFO, because he also wanted to become a “symbol” of his own.
@@scottvgamer1163Manga spoiler about AFO’s origin His personality is a result of his quirk. Ever since he was born he always had the mindset that the world belonged to him because he had the power to give and take. Similar to Toga, AFO’s quirk was a curse in his mind
@@JoeFanik (spoilers) True. But as Yoichi pointed out, the power could also have been a force for good as well, being able to give and not just take. Since he was born without anything given to him, his desire to take became more dominant and so he wanted to take everything in the world for himself.
@@scottvgamer1163 It's arguable even then that All for One may have been born a sociopath even discounting his Quirks effect on his personality, he may have been born with a quirk that compels him to take others but doesn't mean he is required to be cruel even if he does, he could have taken countless quirks without ever having become a demon lord and he could have still felt empathy despite doing it, the fact that he doesnt is a sign that more may be at play than a simple influence of a quirk.
I just realized that that last thing that AFO told All Might before they told him to leave was somewhat similar to what Shigaraki said to Overhaul after cutting his arms off
If you count how long it is from when the guy says you have 3 minutes left to when he says it’s time to leave, it really is 3 minutes. Talk about attention to detail!!!!
One of the greatest BADASS conversations in the entire history of fiction series. SERIOUSLY HERE It's almost better than a conversation between Superman and Lex Luthor or Batman and Joker.
I think it has something to do with the combination of his monotone voice, calm demeanor, and broad vocabulary. He’s like a grandfather who worked as an English teacher for 50 years.
Believe it or not, John Swasey is one of the reasons why I like the English version of AFO slightly more than the Japanese verison. Don’t get me wrong!!! They are both great. But the subtitles translate AFO as being a very average speaker. His vocabulary is about the same as everyone else’s. Which makes his intelligence and sense of calculation less believable. I think John Swasey knew this. And that’s why he gave AFO such a vast choice in vernacular to make him sound more like an intellectual and thereby persuading the viewer into believing in AFO’s incredible foresight.
That scene is when tomura got in hand the one for all by touching because he already has the stealing quirk from all for one. Dabi is touya the eldest son of endeavor who had been thought to be dead. Mirio comesback with his power thanks to eerie. Also ms midnight and other pros will die. Ur welcome 😘
They monitor his brain waves and vitals so just 1 thought of activating his quirk he will be just say bam bam And his armed are strapped so he can’t move his arms and he is stuck in that chair so he has to some how get off the chair while the machine is on him and use his quirk that he stole incrediblely fast
I think deep down all might knew he wouldn’t be trapped there forever. I think All might knew AFO would break out and he knows that AFO is coming for him now that OFA is no longer within him.
@@octo-generaljones8691 I agree. However, I think All Might has confidence that Midoriya will be able to master One For All when the time comes. Midoriya is making huge progress now, and what I really love is the symbolism in it all - Midoriya will protect All Might when the time comes and defeat Shigaraki and All For One, but though Midoriya is the vessel (a strong and mighty hero, of course) it won't just be Midoriya's strength alone. It will be the previous users of OFA, including all Might, who also take him down, their power working in tandem with Midoriya to see him come down. Even if all the previous users including All Might couldn't beat All For One, they will still defeat him in the end. All Might is confident in his words here because he's confident in Midoriya. It will be amazing to see.
@professor nebula As much as I want to think that will be the case, it doesn’t change the fact that AFO and Shigaraki are getting closer to their goal everyday, while midoriya is yet to reach 50% of one for all. And I’m not even going to go into the whole Nagant thing.
Magneto has tangible goals as well as actual reasons for doing the things he does. AFO does evil for the sake of it, they're *not* going to understand each other. If any Marvel character is going to understand AFO, it would either be Cletus Cassidy or Norman Osborn.
Magneto would *Hate* all for one. All for One is living in magneto's dream and chooses to kill his fellow supers or exert control over them. Watch magneto react in the show, or the movies, or the comics when ANYONE brings up removing mutant powers.
All for One, the only villain in both Anime & My Hero Academia that never got angry or frighten (Wonder why he never married so that he can have a true successor and his blood line continue?)
what all for one is talking makes sense. He has his facts correct, actions clear. On the contrary all might is imaginative and feeble, not accepting the reality.
There are some threats in this universe that are simply to powerful to be allowed to survive, even in containment. All for one SHOULD'VE been one of them. That prison cannot contain him, he hasn't escaped...not because he is incapable of escaping, but because he doesn't WANT to. I know it's not very "heroic" to kill, that heroes always practice mercy and compassion...but a true savior must understand when such things must end...for the sake of all that lives. The existential threat that All for one represents is too great to be allowed to exist, he CANNOT be contained, and nothing is worth the risk of his escape! His power...his intelligence...his drive...it's all too dangerous...he has to die. For the sake of every person who cries out for peace, All for one must be slain.
So many praise All For One but he was wrong about a few thing. That battle in which All Might defeated him said that he is arrogant and truly thinks he knows all this overestimates himself and underestimates others.
How did all for one know all might was in a costume and the gun muzzles in his cell, ?? he even said one thought about using his quirk he would likely be killed immediately.
There is a FanFiction of my hero academia with kingdom hearts I hope this scene gets add to the story because and All might how did you meet that “person” or there is a line my left the nest years ago and made a new friend along the way or that my boys will be stronger then yours or something like that
Its such a shame that this is the last good season. The creator really should’ve taken time to continue writing a quality story. Or at the very least, all might retiring shoulda came in much later seasons rather than us seeing a glimpse of him in action.
@@AnkitSingh-cd7tw putting the manga aside, the anime is trash. So the manga being its own separate thing is irrelevant. Season 4 was trash, season 5 was trash, the movies were either okay or trash. The show shot itself in the foot by ending all might too early and having no content to evoke emotions we experienced in seasons 1-3
@@govanni4959 Could you explain a bit more. Also I have gotten past Season 3 in the anime or manage. So! No spoilers! I'm at the Top 3 In both anime and manga
@@YoBoyNeptune they couldn’t just kill him outright because that would be a human rights violation, which the guards already mentioned was a bit of an issue they had to deal with. They also said they were hoping that he would get sentenced soon, so it isn’t like they DIDN’T want him dead, and Moonfish was mentioned to be on death row, so they do have the death sentence.
7 Years Ago All Might Smashed the upper part of his Head and in the same time All For One Donuted All Might by punching his stomach and grabbing his hands together with All Might's organs
