@@ghettogecko7995 Raviente's fight is more basic than Dalamadur's, no contest there really. Raviente's fight is him trying to physically hit you, making the fight have more emphasis on dodging when it comes to his attacks. While Dalamadur's fight is not only him trying to physically hit you, but he also tries to hit you with meteorites and sometimes a devastating laser that you have to dive out of the way from, Dalamadur's fight has emphasis on dodging as well as positioning when it comes to his attacks.
Jet renz Raviente, its subspecies and Dara Amadyura are currently the largest monsters in the Monster Hunter universe, easily the size of a small island. Source: monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Size Though all i do is quote. I dont know the exact size or who is the biggest out of them.
The ones in the rotten vale are not adults nor are the ones in 4u juveniles. Dunno where tf people pull this "fUlLy GrOwN dAlAmAdUr In tHe RoTtEn vAlE" from.
Whenever I face anything in a monster hunter I can't help but to think about how would our modern society face these monsters. I reckon most of the time the military would just blast them to death, which is a pretty boring, yet, really efficient way to get rid of these monsters, however, how would you actually stop a rampaging Dalamadur / Shah Dalamadur? Nuke it? What if it attacked a city for example? MH4/U actually asked us this question when including Dragons attacking Dundorama
I have always thought about that. If these monsters existed in our world, there would probably be special teams keeping tabs on them and make sure they don't threaten any humans (something that happens in the MH world). If they were headed towards a city, said city would probably be evacuated and once everyone is out, the defenses would be placed in position. Some of the monsters can take a LOT of punishment from weapons that can literally strike them with their elemental weaknesses and cannons, not to mention they look like they can shrug off bullets and any military weapons, not unlike some Kaiju, so a possible attack by them would not only be a very serious concern, it would probably lead to mass panic.
John Doe its somthing most christins dont belive in its something called EVOLUTION jesus christ this must be how the creatures evolve in this world plus they have blood and stuff so how are they robots?
Hieu Truong Have you ever had two airheads and twisted them together? That's kinda how snakes mate. I imagine that's what they'd do, if they had the right parts in their cloacas.
_Alternatively it'd be like a full-grown Anaconda VS Rat Snake, that's the size difference here._ _Unless it's a baby Dalamadur, like what's seen in the game right now, then I'd say it'd be more like snake VS snake, they're unlikely to mate due to being two different species of snake entirely so to say._
I'm surprised this game hasn't gone mech yet with the size of these monsters. Like one operates head, one operates legs, one operates arms, one operates.... idk, weapon? GO GO POWERANGERS!
i wonder how much bigger can capcom can actually make in monster hunter . . . . hmmmm oh well Laon Shan version 3 lol I still want to fight with the biggest laon shan in monster hunter you know the one that shen gorem the biggest crab in mh that has laon shan's skull in the back makes me wonder if in the future Monster Hunter can capcom bring the legendary Laon shan into the game ?
I have Monster Hunter Freedom Unite which I've only played but damn this looks soooooooooo big, how long do you think this will take to kill this beast solo?
It's impossible. The thing you don't realize is, this is killed over 4 phases, and each phase is a quest, plus, there can be up to 16 people fighting one at once in groups of 4. It's a "server battle"
@RyuHoly what happens is that since the Raviente is so big and has so much hp, it would take a long time to kill it, and to shorten the battle and to make it not impossible they give you 4 computer controlled NPCs that help you out, but it still is 4 human-controlled players per quest. to answer your question yes NPCs are CPU players
@LWLP I think there is six groups of four or something. They fight in groups, for this monster, so only 4 huters per group (you can't see the rest in battle)
This monster can literally dig through the earth like it's nothing but gets it head stuck in the ground That's monster Hunter logic for you in a nutshell Great video tho
RB_ Ricky yup. Theres 3 Varients. The Regular Raviente, Violent Raviente, and the best of the 3 imo, Berserk Laviente. Laviente is the hardest and most fun of the trio to me
@Firefoxred IF i am not mistaken that is due to the fact that unlike other giant monster hunts (where you get cannons and such) this boss gives you some Monster hunter CPUs...how many im unsure...what they do...dunno...but u get em :D
That was Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. A completely different game from Monster Hunter 3 Tri. Monster Hunter 3U (3G in Japan) is a combination of Portable 3rd and Tri, with extra G rank missions added in.
@ilovecarrots555, @wowamonster2 Could be, yesterday I read that Lao's body grew in size as it takes in the particles in the surrounding air. May be the same for Raviente, as they're both colossal.
big drakon... *small voice* That thing is just ridiculously epic. There is no fighting it, no second thoughts, just get the hell out of there before the big snake eats you.
If they ever make another console Monster Hunter game, Raviente must be a monster they add to it. This monster is too awesome not to have in future games.
Dakota Jones What he meant was the western market had the ultimate or generation games as a standard for mh games, not mmorpgs. In Japan however the standard is pretty wide, considering that mmorpgs are stapled in Japan's culture.
Red Phoenix Language ain't shit if you're in the middle of a tactical fight. What are you gonna do, type out a message nobody's gonna understand and die halfway through typing?
@superalphawolfsquad Well the funny thing is, if you kill this thing, you unlock a new quest which is basically a 5 minute carve-fest on it's corpse. It has infinite carves, if the Monster Hunter wiki is to be believed. =D
@SI0AX My guess is... PC = Monthly or Yearly Fee but free DLC's and updates. 360 = No fee, cuz we're already paying for live and we gotta pay for DLC's on top of that.
The first thing that comes to my mind when watching videos like these is, me, showing this game to a friend who doesn't know the game. Saying, "See that thing? Ok, you have to kill it."
This is my second favorite monster do to its sheer size. Wise monster hunter developers would some day bring all the monsters from all installments to the high definition version someday. Heres hoping :)
