This quest is super fun. First of all, I forgot to unmute my game while recording (I usually play without sound) but it was a good time and I wanted to upload something for you guys, so I apologize. I wanted to make my first video featuring all the Flagships, and this quest does it well.

Armorset shown at the end. Sorry about not including game sounds, I did this in the morning before class. I'll make sure ensure quality for my other MHGU runs, but I just really wanted to get started with this on my channel, I hope you can forgive me for this.

I haven't played enough gen to know,. but what's so special about alchemy sns?

@@TheRainBros1 Gen has Hunting Styles, you lose some moves in exchange for extra mechanics: Guild Style = Classic, you got everything + 2 Hunter Art slots Striker = Heavy art focus, generally best for SnS, you lose backhop but have 3 hunter arts Aerial Style = You lose the heavy slashes but your roll turns into a leap that you can do Aerial attacks from. 1 Hunter art Adept Style = You lose heavy slashes but your rolls go into a run that allows you counter attack afterwards. 1 Hunter Art Brave Style = You lose round slash but once brave meter is charged you get a backflip move with s thats extremely mobile 1 Hunter art. Alchemy Style = You lose the second hit of your heavy slash combo but gain a Barrel that can create items you can use. 3 Hunter Arts. I used it here for the Alchemy Earplugs and the Alchemy Whetsone, which makes Arts charge faster.

This is the only quest, apart from EXs, that I haven't been able to beat. Time always runs out for me. Despite hammering like crazy on the beasts, they take like 7-10+ mins each for me. Seeing videos like this when they fall within 2-3 mins just makes me shake my head. I've noticed though that most players like these focus on crit rather than brute atk. That must be why I keep failing. I don't tend to focus much on crit but apparently, that seems like one heck of important stat to prioritize.

Tried today, first and second try I was left with 17 and 18 minuted left to Valstrax. I can only imagine, broken body but apparently some HP left. Time run out. With over 500 hours in, and seeing these videos I am questioning my "skill", reacting to monsters attacks. I thought I did reasonably well. One time GS Valor, one time GS adept. A Strong weapon. Now I want to succeed with 10 minutes left at least, I have to regain some confidence in myself.

Im basically truing to complete all quests before the new mh arrives and this is the last one i need, ive even done the online ones (all of them) and im just stuck with this one Lol and i am main in SNS so this shall be helpful hopefully

This probably isn't as hard as Advanced: Wycademy Challenge, at least for me. Here, you fight the monsters one by one, rather than two at the same time. This means you don't need Smoke Bombs to avoid getting aggro'd by both at once. It definitely seems like a slog, though.

After speedkilling and practicing before that with sns, going back to watch old mh sns gameplay feels so unsatisfying and I have the urge to use the backhop. No roundslash either. My friend wasn't lying when he said that the old mh gens will look so much different after you played MHW for a long time.

Its a matter of opinion, I find this style alot more satisfying to play as. Both the roundslash and the backhop are in the game.
