Im 40, been playin MH games for awhile now. This is exactly what i told my nephews when they got into MH. You learn their attacks and patterns and you react accordingly, just like a dance. They lead, you follow. Awesome video.

You might run out of ideas for titles, but your gameplay remains a sight to behold for sure. Keep it going man, you're so good at this.

Flow is honestly the most important part in a fight and weapon. It really is like a dance choreography. Countering moves are the peak of mh gameplay but what's even better is if the weapon flows cleanly from the counter into its moveset and perhaps even into more counters. Its the reason weapons like longsword are so damn satisfying to use in sunbreak. Counter after counter after counter.

Even with all my efforts, if i don't play the game for a month i already forget all the patterns and the moves for the monsters. So each update i really struggle to relearn everything, nonetheless this is beautiful.

In rise/ sunbreak My first “deadly dance“ against a monster was Valstrax back in High rank. Where he did his mid-air dash to the ground, and I responded with the silkbind dash attack the hammer has, and moments before he could land his attack, my attack landed first and knocked him

Small personal tip for those who want to master the game, use high risk for high reward, meaning: use monsters that you dont know start slowly and when you feel confident use Advanced and Hazard quests to practice or use Anomaly quests of 1 cart, if you fail then get back up and try again when you less expect it youll learn their moves and steps in this deadly dance between Monster and Hunter

I might be alone here but I liked Monster Hunter better when it was more hunting, crafting, baits and traps and less colorful anime fantasy boss battles

Despite how awesome it looks. I dislike how mhr turned into a heavily reactive based gameplay with counters and silkbind skills with ample s.

Risebreak is such an amazing game man world felt like a chore the pimple popping end game was annoying and the lazy weapon copy paste pissed me off especially coming after an amazing game like GU then ice born fixed a lot of things but it still felt like a chore with rise I feel like I can actually have fun so many cool moves the gameplay is faster more fluid the monster designs are amazing the end game vs Satan himself was bad ass the battles are tough and engaging like in older tittles too fun

I have tried 2 MH games and i just cant do endgame. MH made me realize i dont have the mental stamina or patience for the rage inducing BS. I fight and get 1 shot and getting headaches from trying and the rewardsfor the fights are SHIT. I dont play game to rage and hate what im doing. I want to relax and turn my brain off for a few hours. But i did try my best with 800hrs. Im goin to stick with my fantasy mmo's where i am a mortal God.

Besides speedrunning I think we all aspire to hunt as stylish and epic as these clips in our hunts

i feel like you play the game differently than everyone, the way you go for dunks and use silkbinds has a uniqueness to it. idk your videos are amazing

Dang. I hope to be a fraction this good. This is what Monster Hunter is about. The monsters, the atmosphere, the friends, the fun, all of it occasionally comes together in a single, flawless event you'll never forget, especially when you get that moment of utter mastery, or total sync with your team of hunters.

You are absolutely right about it being a dance. To learn the monster, you must understand its patterns and its tells, you learn to react with the right timing, and then you practice, you practice more, and you practice even more. That is how you git gud at this game. Also, has anyone ever mentioned that the sound made when you pull off a Silkbind-based counter is so incredibly satisfying? It's that twinkling of tiny bells is a show of the near-magical power that Wirebugs seem to give Hunters, allowing them to completely ignore even the most powerful attacks.

The enjoyment I get out of Monster Hunter is for the cool moments like this. Even for all of the fails in a hunt, if I can at least do something I can look back on and say "wow, that was awesome", I consider that hunt to be a success.

The montage is wonderful! But I started with World and... Rise was a little disappointing. I remember the Kushala Daora in world as a nightmare: always flying, impossible to hit, giants tornados,... when I faced him in rise I laughed.

I know the main point of the lance clips are the tight timing of the fancy silkbind moves, but the title of the video is honestly why I've never understood why people write lance off as "boring". It's probably the least flashy weapon in the games, sure, but the straightforward moves mean there's never any downtime with lengthy dodge rolls and combo flourishes. Just pokes, guards, counters, and hops keep up close and personal for the entirety of the fight and solely focused on what you need to do in the next few seconds to keep it that way.

Get in dig deep and hunt. In essence gitgud simplified.

let the enemy lead and you react accordingly. I have play a lot of action game and even in MGR and DMC I ended up wait for my enemy to make the 1st move, wheter it made me lose a lot of momentum I have all the time I need. Yea I still get bodied tho
