I've never realized till now (probably cause I suck too much to actually get him to that point), but what he does at 4:22 is his eating animation. after killing the rhenoplos, instead of eating it directly, he sends the flying giggi things to suck the blood and bring it back, wich then lets him power up. it's a neat detail that his eating animation is done in acordance to his lore
same thing when I saw the palico bring out the kittenator right as the monster was changing area... this run would have been even more epic if those 2 thing didnt miss
this deserves so much more recognition this is INSANE. the amount of effort that youve put into doing a speedrun within a day is astonishing. the moves on this thing look terrifying. im hyped good job!!
@@SnakeTheBoss13 the performance also seems better than base game, tried on steam deck and switch (portable mode) For Switch it's just a "feeling" but for steam deck the improvements are real.

Yep and gunlance new buolet barrage. Wirebug whisperer is gonna be mandatory skill now on every build and probably getting a palicoe that drops that wirebug pot thing
Tho, they did "buff" anchor rage (guard doesn't reduce the effects) and the insta block (amongst others things) so it's looking pretty good for the lance anyway :P
we rarely see actual skill in team darkside videos nowadays, it's all about cheese, but this one is the former glory from the old days, happy you guys are back showing actual player skill off again! Very good job
If they were just spamming slicing ammo with LBG then I’d agree thats cheesy. But the level of skill to pull of those “cheese” strats is off the walls.
@@Valfalk24 I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but sometimes Hysteria comes out and sometimes it doesn’t. I have no idea how to consistently bring it out whenever I’m charging
A part of me died when that palamute made you whiff that true charge slash by breaking Malzeno’s other arm. If I were trying to speedrun a quest I would have abandoned the quest right then and there.
Dang, greatsword looks sick in Sunbreak! I’m a hammer main, but I think I’m gonna have to pick up greatsword once the expansion comes out. Because watching this gameplay was awesome! Nothing but an onslaught of true charge slash destruction. 😈
