Weapon augments? Also, why didn't you run Challenger charm V over attack charm IV? Great run regardless 👍 Personally though I wish Capcom had made IG more of an elemental weapon. You'd think it would be because of how fast it is but people have told me it doesn't get good elemental damage for some reason.

@@Rathadude I have 0 atk+ gems on PC so using attack charm and challenger+ decos is more efficient for me

i mean...thats a pretty standard attack, you should watch my russian hunting partner fight fatalis with his glaive, he almost exclusively uses the descending thrust to kill it.

@@pierre2497 eye coordination is evrything.. I just started MHW, gIaive user, with instict and eye coordination, its easy to aim the head. Its only not that easy if the target is moving.

@Yung Dani I would do that if not for the fact I use plunderblade palico to get more rewards/shiny drops, I accept the price of his presence in exchange for free mats. It was the main reason I was hunting furious rajang at the time afterall, so I could get his weapons and armor.

Brach weapon have short sharpness thought. Not really good for multiplayer unless you can reliably land crit with WE to trigger master touch.

raging brachy and safi weapons. teostra /safi or teostra/brachy armor for most weapons. dunno about bow and guns but everything that needs sharpness goes one of the 2 routes. hope it helps

Slasher Soul Bow I think it is Safi bow, 3 piece of silver rathalos, garuga legs and kirin chest At least the elemental ones, I think that the meta for raw damage changed for one of raging but idk

It's the glaive he is using, it has spirit and strength boost, so no matter what slinger ammo he uses to power the kinsect up he will get both for one.

When you vault into the air click or hold R2 and it does a move called decending thrust.

for sure, but look he is HR 999 und MR 703. he have best endgame gear. i mean his moves are incredible good. yesterday i killed my first normal rajang and it was fucking hard.

I'm pretty sure that you can get the glow by having an attack buff from weapon or item

@@chanokchonthongkrue5300 Dude. You're 100% right. You get it from having the power talon etc. I had a brain fart. I got confused because akantorex has a blue glow if you check his videos. I'm pretty sure that that was an mod effect.

TA rules dont allow for wall bangs, the idea behind them is that you use mainly your weapon to beat the monster without the aid of any cc mechanics that is not provided by the weapon itself

As a Master of the IG, I feel that whenever you see an IG user flying constantly is because they do not believe in their own ability. Or they want to wear it down some before they stick to the ground.

You don't mount with ground attacks, and a mount is worth more online.

Spamming aerials before last area for Safi or Kulve (2 of the most heavily farmed monsters) is the worst thing you could possibly do, damage is weak and mounts are better if used last... I would much rather take a grounded paralysis IG than a aerial spammy one, that's better crowd control. Look, I'm not hating on the weapon, I loved it in 4U and it was crazy mobile in GU but I also love not being carried by my teammates. Aerial-only Glaive just doesn't do enough consistent damage for me to feel like the aerial Glaiver is not being carried. Yes it is tons of fun, but online I like doing my part damage wise so that's where my thoughts reside.

I think for online coop should be aerial so that others can spam.. support IG.. thats how it is.. for solo you should be using ground coz aerial might slow you down for solo hunting]

1. To distract it momentarily so I can do the claw attack without getting thrown off by the roar 2. + 3. Kinsect Stamina and Power buff, you can power up your kinsect if you have slinger ammo equipped and press triangle + circle while aiming wih L2

Spacing didn't feel right, there was a good chance that I'd either not hit the head or overshoot and fly over the head if I had airdashed for some extra distance. Also my white extract was about to run out so I prioritized calling Kinsect back to refresh buff duration

@@rice77707 very hard to manage everything with glaive. I couldnt speedrun well with it.

This set is designed to reach 100% crit without tenderizing because you can't tenderize Rajang's weakspot.

I'm doing a specific category of speedrun that has rules in place that don't allow flinch shots to the wall

@@somerandomguygaming8752 Eh.. Then you're taking the wrong approach. Look where he has openings and learn to take advantage of them. Learn how long the openings are and how long your weapons attacks take. Don't just rush in headfirst.

Nah, you can't tenderize the head so I only have 30% crit from Weakness Exploit. Generally speaking though, you're right, but for Rajang I need that crit eye

TA rules are a community made set of rules for a specific kind of speedrun that aims to showcase how to use a weapon against a monster as much as possible without using any of the many mechanics that give you free openings like traps or knocking the monster against the wall. For casual play I absolutely recommend to knock the monster against the wall.

It's a Furious Rajang, those have always been missing a tail.

Yes, the idea behind TA rules is to primarily show how to use a weapon against a monster without using mechanics like traps or wall slam to create an opening for easy free hits because you can do that regardless of weapon anyway.

Thats not the kinsect that lets him do that, but its the foliocath III Forz. Charging the kinsect gives it a stamina buff and the ability to collect two buffs before returning.

Challenger skill goes into effect when enraged. Canta has Challenger secret skill so it's smart to do that so the monster enraged as fast as possible.

1. To enrage. 2. Attack + 3 Turns/Smack = Instant tenderize for light weapons like IG.
