Yeah im not getting them with the same build.... so i dont think they are, even with all buffs and the same thing im getting like about half that, and the rush poke is doing like 350 instead of their 700ish. Im lost.

Well they never cheat the game, so you must be doing something wrong to not get those numbers. Are you using evasion mantle? Because that will give a boost to attack. Do you have all the same skills? Do you have the same augments? Is you Palio buffing you? The here are many factors to consider. So test and see, and soon you will have those numbers.

@@R3LOADlikesgames Evasion mantle and drugs and powders, atk up meal and same build, missing i think one augment and i didnt even see the buffs from the palico go off. but still.. im missing way too much damage for just those two things. I even tenderized, just like the start.

@@RazielTheUnborn and it would've broke 700 but the damn fire got on him and deactivated Peak right before the dash attack. Probably could've been mid 700s hit

@@Zzz-dt2dl You do realise her tail health is like 70% of her total. Even if you focus it right from the start, by the time its cut the rath is probably low enough to capture.

@@ZIMBO37333 It's actually quite bad for general use, and only really has potential in speedruns/scripted runs, because, typically, you're very rarely going to sheathe during the fight (and the FC gauge only refills when sheathed or not attacking.)

@@ZIMBO37333 yeah, TDS is very good but he didn’t just wander into an arena fight and get that time. This run represents probably dozens of runs and some number crunching to determine how much damage you should do when she’s on the ground so that when she gets up and flies you can immediately dunk her back to the floor.

Sadly it's days of being the most broken weapon is done.

I see your point but he said "never has been", and by saying insect glaive does 0 damage he insulted the weapon without even knowing the history of it cuz he started in world. That triggered me.

@@keithcunningham3131 Also yes insect glaive was nerfed badly from Mh4U as it beat even GS in lvl 140 guild quest. Due to the high attack in buffs and motion value only thing stronger was hame runs and relic weapons in some match ups. Please know what your talking about to start a conversation please.

Basically yes; three high thrusts and reset with charge thrust, repeat. However, it's my understanding that the difference of damage between that and a hop reset or counter-thrust reset is marginal. Also the charge-thrust is low and often cannot hit the head/optimal hitzones if the monster isn't down. So for us mortals who aren't speed-runners, the other two options that leave you less open to counterattack and let you block sooner thereafter, are likely better/safer options. Better to have more uptime with a slightly lower DPS combo, than lose DPS getting knocked down (or even cart) with a riskier combo.

Frost craft meter. At full your attacks are plus 30% then 20% and with one bar your at plus 10%. Sheathing your weapon refills the meter.

I just finally made my last 4 fatalis weapons, the lance, lbg, hbg and bow (not a big fan of ranged weapons). Btw fatalis gunlance is op, doing slaplance can do like 600-700 with just agi7 peak3, crit stuffs and tenderize with the slap attack. And the wyvernstake actually dealt serious amount of damage. I could get like 3000 damage easily in one combo, possibly more.

AT velkhana armour is godlike. Right up there with fatalis armour. Heck I'm about to make a frost craft HH build just to see how it performs!
