Ok, when you fight Rajang and Lunastra at the same time, and you get double-teamed and carted, that isn't "gone wrong", that's just the expected outcome.
@@bitz6562 it would go differently if they only focused on one single mutiplatform "series" instead of splitting it between two teams At least, as long as team B comes out with such clearly inferior versions of the "mainline" titles
@@lorenzoniccoli99ln god, drop the opinions. I and several others prefer rise to world. Also just wait for the g rank expansion for gods sake. It’s hard to even be excited anymore when all people say around here is “iceborne was better, rise is shit”
@@ericgerald2886 I think mhgu still has its role in the monster hunter playerbase, it's definitely very distinct from monster hunter world, which is distinct from monster hunter rise, you can't really say it replaced it(especially since all those games are on different platforms) Edit: plus, mhrise is kinda like monster hunter portable 5th, it's kinda unfair to compare how players saw the previous generation in comparison to the latest generation when the games you're talking about are the same generation.
6:23 If anyone's still struggling with that move of AT Velkhana. Just clutchclaw her (not at the tail though). It works 100% of the time and does allow you to weaken her head which she normally bats you off with a charge should you try to weaken her head.
I also hope that the Apex hunt rewards are better. When update 3.0 came, it was kinda underwhelming. I didn’t really care for Apex Zinogre. It was just high-rank Zinogre but stronger.
Personally i hated the difficulty of iceborne and love rise, iceborne forced me to play harder than i do at apex or paladins, while rise is a much more casual experience with alot of improvements that are likely to not come to future games just because capcom
@@sohampatel3525 Yep that's all I want. Something to grind in the endgame. There's no incentive to grind for a god charm that will improve my build by one skill point and I already got good charms passively while making my armor sets and weapons since "endgame" is basically just doing what I've been doing the whole game.
I am so happy that you're still making Iceborne content, TDS. Please keep them coming. We still can't get enough of MHW: Iceborne yet. 6:43 Hey, those are my pals Kayeser & Azreal from the hunter guild Cult of Azreal. haha. Fancy seeing them here! Nice!
I remember people complaining that Base World has barely any content other than mindless deco farming, good to see y'all complaining that Rise suffers from the same problem.
Never played world because didn’t have that type of money but I feel like monster hunter is starting to face the same problem as Pokémon. One game was controversial then the next came out people realized that that game was actually pretty alright.
Mh had this problem for a while. First we get the base then we had to get the game again but with more content. At least these days it comes in updates but we still gotta pay.
@@MarioSonic46 Tbh I prefer Iceborne's approach to MH's Ultimate version, where we get to purchase the G rank content as a separate expansion rather than buying the same re-released game with added content like in the previous games.
@@evol_x_lillygaming4740 Exactly. I prefer that as well. When Base World released we had to wait a year and a half (with free updates in between) for the expansion, so we'll probably have to wait about that long for Rise's expansion.
I think because of TDS and this clips Mohu is fun even in its weakest moments. And you have all my respect for that. Normaly im one of these guys who rage when my timing is bad. But all i think in those moments is -"Is this Gone Wrong worthy?" and i can smile. And just because of this you improve my skill in this game for like a million times ! Thank you, for real. Thank you.
I had similar thoughts. With Rise being arguably a bit of a letdown content wise and running on way weaker hardware it might be for the best because when the next-gen game comes around it's gonna feel even more impressive (hopefully).
Graphics and framerate won't do much if they keep going in Rise's game design direction. No challenge, no player accountability (wirebug lets you get away with mistakes constantly) and no lasting content. The series has been getting exponentially easier since Generations, and with Rise I feel it finally caught up with them, as it's hard to keep a playerbase engaged when they're done with all the content in a week. MH games need proper walls again, get good or try your luck getting carried, that's how it was in the 4U and earlier days.
I never had a problem with how it looked, i just wish there was an option to play it on ps or xbox instead of just the switch or PC. Its nice to have either as an option but id have enjoyed my playthrough on ps5 or even xbox alot more with 60fps and maybe that extra clarity with 4k though not super necessary.
@@lixd3054 right? 4u is the best mh imo so a remaster of that with the difficulty staying the same and without all this excessive qol stuff would be amazing though they'd probably remake it at this rate and make it extremely easy like mhr which was creative and fun but man was it a breeze. No carts the entire playthrough and only took me and my friends about 20hrs to go through everything.... not 100% of course but we got past HR7 which was everything at launch but im waiting for a complete game before coming back.
@@lupostales7968 yea im enjoying it its extremely fun but i really need to work on my dodging skills and ofc know when to go in and attack bcs most of the time I just grapple on and die
Damn, these videos do make me wanna play MHW again. Redownload MHW > Boot up the game > seeing my sets of various weapons I've built over the course of 2k hrs > hunt 2-3 different monsters > got bored > uninstall and repeat the same cycle 2 months from now. I forgot how beautiful the game actually looks, damn i wish they kept going with the update. I don't mind this game turns into subscription based, or they're releasing another expansions.
Generation Ult was my 1st MH game. And Rise is my second. But I have a lot of friends and siblings who tell me that I need try World and Iceborn. So, I'm looking into trying it out. It looks really fun.
Play since beta, so much memories.... Pokke village was my home back in freedom unite, but now astera & seliana is my home.. You're old if you remember that time when : - Bow off camera shot - LS fadeslash lower frame - Slicing got nerfed - Bitchslapped by deviljho - Switch axe off map zsd - CB max pp saed - Non elemental all the way - Baby mantle - etc etc
The comeback of Iceborne Gone Wrong really says a lot about the status of Rise right now. Hoping that GRank will make almost of the playerbase come back to the game at that point
I play once every couple weeks just to do the new event quests but all my friends stopped playing so it's hard to keep grinding things when all the base content is done.
This reminds me that I still need to finish making all the Fatalis weapons and beat AT Velkhana. Just...those fights are so hard they completely kill my vibe to get back to the game whenever I think about it.
Man I love these videos and the Rise videos. I wish I had recorded it, but I was hunting an Ebony Odogaron in the Guiding Lands, and he went one direction, only to instantly teleport to another direction. I was so confused but was laughing really hard. It was great. The only other great time was killing a Rathalos with a Deviljho and a landslide at her nest. :D
Me: Whelp, I've played Rise to it's full extent and am stuck in a content drought that will likely last until the ultimate version. I guess going back to Iceborne isn't so bad. Also me: *remembers Iceborne Lunestra* MHGU has way more content anyhow.
I hate Lunastra. If Teostra wasn't cancer already, let's make horrendously unforgiving and unfair. And before it was just litteraly just a Blue Teostra, so still trash anyway.
