I wonder if it would be better to use the Velkana set bonus for this set up? Since the full bonus is a 30% increase in raw, that would have a pretty big impact.
@@martinhall9497 The frostcraft bonus only applies 30% at full bar, since he is attacking nonstop, the bar will be 0 after his 3rd attack, he would need to sheath his weapon to recharge so no not really.
Imagine falling asleep every 20 seconds, and for each time you wake up, there's either a falling ceiling crashing down on you or a fully-charged explosion aimed right in your face. Torment
@@demonboyx34 How is it sad? Someone strives to do the best they can at something and people call it sad or pathetic? Why because it is a form of entertainment and not a job? Or because you are jealous and know you could never do it?
To me this is way more impressive than any TA run, he planned and coordinated an entire military operation to take down Rajang instead of just playing a weapon skillfully, which is just the minimum requirement for speedrunning any way.
@Josh derp The only thing that's bad here is your skills of interacting with other humans. It may be the internet, but you can at least TRY not to be a piece of shit. Later. O/
This guy must've hunted Rajang 1 thousand times and recorded every run to know exactly where to place those traps and how to plan this fight. It was pretty amazing to watch actually.
@@omargholam2514 its 100% this guy and not the weapon. That damn ammunition has been nerfed twice and he still destroyed that monster. He even had the sleep shots down to the number and was able to play off of that. Its skill all the way nothing else.
@@omargholam2514 I'm not downplaying his skill. As a bow main I know the times of my weapon are insane. I'm just saying just because you don't get those times doesn't mean you are not good. Also always look for speedruns in your weapon so you can learn the techniques even if you don't have the build
@@metaman8662 Some people started playing the moment it went live, running solo he could just constantly do it and you get to watch the one clip that was successfully smooth. Not to mention to counter your logic, you telling us on a handful of tries he was already aware of exactly where to place his traps and where the general spots rajang would be to flawlessly end this battle?
@@metaman8662 You have no idea how runs like this are possible. This was completely scripted and attempted over and over. Recording visible runs lets you see monster patterns. Trial and error and pinpoint calculation on how many shots it takes to sleep and push the fight into the next phase isn't random. lol You don't need to hunt Rajang over and over to do this, you need to adhere to a script with 0 mistakes.
1:41 I love how he seems to be done with your shenanigans as he finally struggles free from the trap and just for a split second he goes apeshit and fur starts glowing, the music begins to kick back in and- hmm... time to sleep.
A lot of these veteran speedrunners have been doing Rajang runs since the PSP days, and the AI for Rajang is very, very similar in Worlds to how it was in the past. Tatsu knew Rajang in and out before it even came to Worlds, so the planning for this run was purely tactical. Nonetheless an impressive as hell run.
yea I've played MHW for over 700 hours since it's release (it's my first MH game) and I failed the first 2 times I tried Rajang xD.. that thing is pretty tough until you learn it's timing, it very rarely stops and is ultra aggressive!
Theres 4 tiers of hunters in MHW : 1. Casual Hunter / World only hunters 2. Veterans and casual streamers/youtubers 3. Team Darkside 4. Japanese players
@Derek Bartlett Right. I have a friend who started with world and he has gotten about as good as me. I've been playing MH for years. "Veteran" isn't a measurement of skill.
