you should be, pure skill and no abuses of cheap tricks, palico hh and special items like mantles and affinity boosters

Both speedrun styles are enjoyable and both require skill. ssh, probably the best bow player, uses special items and palico in the vast majority of his runs.

Jordan Roach I once did a TA run of xeno jiva in 46 minutes. Impressive it was lol. It is indeed better than someone who ran with palicos and mantles in 4 minutes

yeah the new KT LBG is RF N2 with Recoil 1 and Fast reload. its pretty slick

oh nah i stopped using spread. While its better for DPS with good RNG, slow reload on AT&T is no bueno

Taroth Blitz "Support" has 6 by default, and Free element adds 2. its this particular LBG

Agamerfr0zed This LBG has around 15% to 20% higher DPS than Shot. It's a big improvement for hunts this long. My best time with Shot is 6'39, and it required the Turf War to get. This LBG would easily have been able to get a full minute faster than my Shot time if Phemeto had stopped it from fleeing. Also, I was able to break it's horns before it changed areas only once with Shot, but this LBG can do it pretty consistently.

I guess its time to grind more

actually i dont think i got hit here at all. Umm i'm not actually KOing. Its just stagger thresholds. Teo/Kush/Vaal topple with enough damage to their face. KO don't last as long. Other monsters get hard topples too when you reach their stagger threshold while they're in the air, or some other condition (Nerg breaks, Anja with fire in his throat). KO is ok (hah) but stickies are weak in general, easier to just put more damage on it

nah, i believe Jho is still better DPS, this is just good on teo

I don't think jho spread 3 is better than this...Slow reload is a pain in the ass.

im unfortunately going to side with new Kulve bow....but if it is, its BARELY better. 30 ele or %18 affinity...

anja is better imo I can reach 80% crit on both bows. and anja does more damage

yes, and it still works just fine, Support is just better

mmmm while it would work it would not be as easy, Teos head is really big, and kush is small. aiming the RF N2 would be a huge pain in the ass. I'd probably use spread on it instead

I think it because he doesn't want to draw attack to the cat. That will slow him down. either that or TA rules.

as others had said, TA rules are No cats, No mantles, no slinger, no environmental effects, no heroics/adrenaline, no bombs, no traps, no flashes, no fun. You and your weapon, thats all

1128nesecret he has some changes to his gamma geat, some of his armors give off critical and lvl 2 gem slots. Can be good for mixed sets.

Amazing I framed kulve from release trying to get the shot lbg from her and got nothing... Soon as the update hits first bowgun I get is the support and I'm like ughhhh this is garbage. Then I see your video and im like holy... Thx for the knowledge

Fishy42 You can't lead shots with a bowgun. I personally move around because I get bored standing still.

Fishy42 It's a mechanic thing. When you shoot, it always shoots straight, but since it's a rapid fire, sometimes those 2nd or 3rd shots aren't at the correct angle for the sweet spots when a body part moves around. To make it a little optimal you want to move your character so you can adjust your 2nd or 3rd shots.

Personally, I shuffle around because I don't like standing still and it also helps me shoot at maximum fire rate more consistently (for some reason I mess up my timing more often if I stand still). It's similar to how, in the previous games, Bow users would run in tight circles while charging despite not actually needing to move at all.

I just pace with the monsters head to make sure im with it. aiming in MHW is bad and will often auto-aim a part that gets closer to your reticle . even with aim assist off

Sadly, yes they did. 1 new wep for each and I'm already dying inside while trying to get my hands on the new bow.

I'm missing out about 50 of rarity 7 & 8 ones, but i don't really care about most of them since it's weapons i don't use that much.. I would be happy if they would add some sort of increased drop chance of weapon you use.. Maybe like 30% more likely you are able to get LS if you use LS. Something like that instead this full on rng or like you said, being able to craft them with absurd amount of materials.

Yeah by a bit. I still dont think it compares to spread, but its nice change of pace. I like the bullet hose for normals.
