Thanks for making this in English!! Ive been so confused about Frostcraft, meta guides say not to use it on SNS but in skilled hands it clearly can out-damages masters touch Agitator 7 builds. Love your channel!!

最大限のDPSを目指すとマジで1番難しいですね。ちょっと触る分には簡単だけど、出来ることが増える毎に難しくなっていく変な武器。追求してくのはかなり楽しい。

Thanks for making this guide! I have a question about the SnS backhop/backstep: In the game settings, do you recommend using option 1 (pull opposite direction of your character, to backhop) or option 2 (always pull back), as input to backhop? Thanks upfront for any helpful answer from anybody :)

Man, I've been using Frostcraft all this time for everything and didn't realise it wasn't that good. 🤣 Time to switch to a Master's Touch build! ずっと冰気錬成を使ってきたのにこんなに有利ではないと知らなかった。（笑）達人芸に作り直していくと思う！

Hi fan from Hong Kong here With the new update is it possible and ideal to run 2 raging brachydios (猛爆碎龍）with Frostcraft (along with Safi Jiva SNS)? （挑戰者7 + frostcraft)

Any tips on doing the backhop from stationary or with weapon sheathed? I find it so difficult. I'm getting pretty good at the sns but if I could backhop at will I'd be a lot better

yes, personally I use master's touch build more often than 冰気錬成, but it just depends on one's playstyle.

Thank you for reply. even awesome player like you also use master's touch more, i'll think about that. My personal experience is: In muti-player mode, 冰気錬成>達人芸 Because you will have more chance to chase the monster(or chase by monster), and there will be at least 2 people making damage, so you don't need so much 斬味, that's my little perspective. thank you.

Velkana Divinity on Safi SNS, Velkana Divnity counts as 1 armor piece towards frostcraft

I'm new to the game and on PC, can someone explain how Frostcraft is achieved with just 3 Rimeguard parts? The 4th seems to be coming from the weapon>

Assuming you have the decos. You could have Crit eye 6 Wex 3 Crit boost 3 Agi 4 Attack 4 Peak 3 And hb3. You need either an agi+ or attack+ or 2 Total expert+. Or use affinity augment on weapon. Also ruiner gloves can be used. More than 1 way to get the FC build

Can I ask a question? How do you initiate a backhop from a neutral position? I thought you need to do an attack first before you can backhop?

Guard and quickly pull back to go into back hop or you can roll pull back to get into it. You can also go into back hop from pretty much any attack I think you already knew it hope this helps.

@@Harv-E thanks! I never knew you could do that. With SNS shield being weak as it is I always forget you could block with it

@@BlackSkullArmor it can block pretty much any attack but the knockback is heavy compared to other shields but if you follow up with the raising slash after block recovery you can gain control of your hunter a bit faster from what I observed.

Also if you want to make it easier to get access to backhop irrespective of the camera direction I suggest you to put camera setting at type2 it makes life easier for SnS mains.

In the first build that he showed he only had 3 pieces of rimegaurd but still had the set bonus. How is this possible ?

Great guide. Does blast SnS work well with FC? Is it recommended to match the monster's elemental weakness?

You get critical element as part of the armor, so you might as well match the element. You don't need to invest too much into elemental attack, because the Frostcraft boosting part only applies to raw and perfect rush heavily favors raw.

@@hungrydave Mmh, as I thought awekening 5 weapons doesn't look like a great idea. I think I'll go with blast on the general/Goldy build.

@@Mr.House38 I've been running FC SnS for a couple months now. It's pretty much all i use. I did awaken all 5. I would say if you're an SnS main then it's most def worth it. If not then yeah don't worry about it. I run mine with sharpness VI though. Seems like the perfect amount for a hunt.

@@Mr.House38 I use all 5 a lot. Whether you will or not, who knows? It's not like it's hard to make them. Safi is easy. I've only killed him a little over 80 times and have countless SnS, CB's, Bows, and a few others. It's not like you are limited

Ehhhh, you could but like Zen said the Velkana armour is poor skill wise. The Safi weapons allow you to cheat that. Since your asking this I'm assuming you're on PC? If so you don't have the perfect rush buff yet. So frostcraft will still be good on SnS, but isn't the beast it is post buff. If on console build for fun, it isn't going to be "top tier" but it's still mad fun.

@@styx87 Welp l got good news for ya. Safi will be back March 5th, and there is a event quest to give Great spiritvein gems making it super easy to get all the augments. Happy Hunting!
