The problem i have with this godly playstyle is I cant seem to let go of the directional stick and attack at the same time, my coordination skills suck major balls.

@@mikevalones9977 same here, over 600 hours in and relation between left stick and attack still feels off.

@@mikevalones9977 You'll get used to it, but fortunately with sns you can press guard+triangle/Y for upward swing (can also do this while sheathed) and follow with circle/B or backhop>FB/PR. I do this alot especially when sheathed, very useful if you don't want to overshoot since pressing triangle/Y while sheathed and running makes you do running unsheathe attacks which is very annoying sometimes.

I mentioned his special attack preceded by a roar like he did 2:09. Everytime he does that attack, his metallick spikes on a specific part grows and each of that attack corresponds to his each part (both wings, both forelegs, and head) so he does that 5 times in total. The one he does with his arms corresponds to his arms and wings, and the one he does with his head corresponds to his head (so he does the latter one only once) The attack has distinct name in Japanese but I didn't know English words of it lol. Edit: I thought you knew that because the documentation you made mentioned this mechanics sorry if I was misunderstanding something

Oh yeah, indeed! You an go even more in-depth on that, it can do each arm attack twice (for 4 uses) and the head attack only once (totalling 5) Since you said it right after its headbutt charge, I thought you meant that. I hoped so actually, that move is terrible to deal with using SA...

It wasn't even particularly scripted. He just friggin i-framed every single attack thrown at him.

It's easier to check if you're in front of nergi. When one arm is being raised higher than the other arm (e.g. left arm higher) during the stand-up roar, then the side of the higher arm will be the point of impact and also the direction of spike shooting towards. When both arms are at similar height during the stand-up roar, it'll be the tracking dive you referred to. While nergis airborne, it'll look at the target before diving. If you happen to be the target, keep moving towards a single direction (left or right, with room to roll/dash) and roll at the moment as nergi start the animation charging towards you.

Elemental hitzones are describing how vulnerable a certain bodypart of a monster is to a certain element. You can datamine the exact one yourself or just look them up on the internet. Ruiners max elemental hitzone value is .2 (dragon) at his horns and .2 at the spikes when they are black. With a build which can break his parts that fast, the normal elemental hitzones reach only .015 and .1, so they are way too low. As a comparison, Teos head has a .3 modifer to water, Tobi-Kadaci Tail aswell, almost all hv of anjanath aswell. I thin Urugaans jaw has the biggest multiplier with .4.

He's always slam with his right hand down, so if you are facing him directly, just roll to the right. If he's behind just roll to the left. But remember not to panic roll, you dont need to the move but rather to run out of its range so just walk a little bit to the right/left before rolling. For the spike shooting part, well if you happened to be inside its range, you will have to roll through it. Good tip is not to do high commitment move when he's doing quick punches.

our defense stats are really high now anyway, so why not trade about ~100 defense for more slots

@@대전설GLGD we got armor upgrades to lvl 20, so the defense on Y is not bad now

@@대전설GLGD I use it in every build that requires Master's Touch and I'm no speed runner, you don't take that much damage anyways, having more slots is comfier than having 100+ defense
