I've read somewhere that anjanath is a noob crusher. I died a lot with a friend to that monster. But once you've overcome it, you'll start seeing the game differently. I'm no pro myself tho, still stuck at alatreon.
Oh my gog! While everyone grinded AR, he trained, while everyone played slot machine in Rise, he trained. It's great to see a TA arubatoreon run posted this late. Gotta respect MHW dedication.
Nevertheless: I'm assuming "World record" title has been put here to gather some attention and maybe even competition for someone to beat it, but, unless you're suspicious about chinese runs there are 5'26 (ice) and 6'11 (fire) TA runs on bilibili that are the fastest ones yet
Still tho, I would be happy to see more MHW from you, non-WR runs are still fun to watch, especially TA ones which we haven't had a lot of recently (and some cool TA SA runners purged their channels too). You should try out Kekko's slinger hop tech to see if you can discover more openings on old monsters, maybe even get into custom quests just for fun. Thumbs up mr. Cyborg
@@Cyborgzx. Yeah. Here's the sheet: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OHv6sPNp4OeZ5rsB3Csfdk35JLRSIwgOnUkU6HRadT4/edit?usp=sharing I hope youtube doesn't purge it. The old leaderboards haven't been updated in a veeery long time since all the "judges" got overwhelmed with an enormous amount of submitted runs, you can still see a ton of those in a submit list limbo
Idk why, seeing Iceborne Switchaxe runs compared to Sunbreak runs feels much more satisfying Maybe because im just biased with Iceborne having what i think is the better weapon balance....
If Iceborne didn't have the clutch claw it would be perfect, I think sunbreak swax has way better moveset if ur not spamming counters, GU still has my fav swax to this day but Iceborne is so satisfying for me because the sound effects are way better than sunbreak
Amazing run ! So sad you killed it right after the nova and not while it was doing it. Is it happening because alatreon cannot die during the nova, or is it actually possible ?
I'm a bit late to answer your question; but that's terrible advice; however he SA is nuanced, so: Axe mode is for poke damage, sever, and blunt. You're more mobile and poke a hit here and there. going from wild swing into overhead puts axe in power mode for a bit letting it do massive part-break damage. (the axe UI icon glows orange) (powered) sword mode is where your combo damage/status effect/elemental comes into play you gain mind's-eye, so cannot bounce/beinterrupted, and with the high tick rate, can deal a lot of elemental ticks to an enemy using ZPD - but for raw damage, standard swings do more in theory. ZPD lets you get in big damage at times when you couldnt otherwise - like when they're in the air, etc. So axe for running around/poke/breaking. Sword for when they are stunned / locked into an animation, and ZPD when the best way to hit them would be Clutch Claw / flying, etc.
I've been playing so much Sunbreak that I kept asking myself like a idiot "Why doesn't he use the Elemental Burst Counter from his Switch Skill Switch Axe?" "Why is he using ZSD when he could get more dps with a ground combo using Rapid Morph 3 talismans?" And then I realized how STUPID those thoughts were and I face palmed myself for my own buffoonery. This hunter is God of Switch Axe!
