+WeissberV well I've tested this. Used on rajang, used a all atk set up. Could never sub 5 him. Tested crit on him, and it worked got 4 37. Not to mention all up speedrunners use the crit set as well. Crit is king in mhx

WeissberV A huge amount of your damage output comes from raw, and the crit set is the best way to boost that. Skills that boost raw output take priority over stuff like artillery.

Garrus -- sure, but my question was why was he using a crit set when apparently crit doesn't affect phial damage (so the theory was on reddit said that attack is better for CB). Attack boosts everything and having artillery on top boosts the phials even further but as Apex said he tested this himself and found quicker results with the crit set; granted, I don't really know how much he tested but I'd take Apex's word over random people over in the forums tbh. Though if he only tested a couple of times he may have been screwed over by the random health generator getting -2 when he was using the crit set and +2 when using the attack set.

WeissberV You could always use the TA wiki to cross check with what information you have. It's likely not different from what Apex claims.
