I used to live with my grandma, this music not only bring back the old memeory of MH. I also miss my grandma so much after hearing this, she becomes the old grandma village head in the pokke village for me.
I have to say, and I'm sure every 2nd gen hunter agrees with me, while this may not be the same theme we waltzed to in days of old, it is still a damn good theme. And will certainly bring a Wyvern Tear to your eye as you remember your first Giadrome, Kut-ku, and Tigrex. The creatures of days gone by who haunted our nightmares and drove us forwards to become true hunters. Now dear hunters, let us remember our old Avatars who dwelled in little Pokke Village, And state their names for all to hear! "Theros", welcome back old friend!
@@igormarques749 You are not alone tho. In MHFU I usually use GS until I learned how to gun which I thought it's difficult(which is not). Lao-shan Lung Cannon HBG destroys that fish.
Generations was my first Monster Hunter game, but I was young and couldn't figure out the controls. But I made myself a promise l that I'd come back to the game eventually. Seven years later, about a week ago as of writing this, I started playing MHGU and the first time I heard this song, it felt like I was being thanked. Thanked for coming back, forgiven for taking so long. Thank you too, Pokke Village.
As someone who started long ago in the age this song is from, how are you taking to the revist? As a Veteran from the niche years I like to see how our 4th and 5th fleet generation hunters are feeling the older titles.
The Hunter lost everything that fateful night when that monster attacked. Their home, laid to waste, and everyone else was killed. They suffered injuries, but no pain was greater than that of the loss they suffered that night. To avoid feeling that pain again, the Hunter closed their heart to others, tried their hardest not to get closely attached to anyone, knowing they could be gone in a heartbeat. But with Pokke, it was awfully hard, and only got harder as time passed. Every time the Hunter returned, the children would run up and gather around to see what monster the Hunter had vanquished this time, and to cheer for their hero's return. The adults would ask if their wounds needed additional treatment, or if they wanted some hot tea, or some other simple act of comfort. But it was the village chief who broke through the shell around the Hunter's heart with three words after they successfully hunted Tigrex for the first time: "Welcome home, dear." Then one day, the already chilly weather started becoming especially brutal. The Guild's intelligence pointed to the culprit: an Ukanlos, a gigantic pseudo-wyvern known as the White God to the locals. Its very presence could cause a precipitous drop in temperature for miles around, and if left unchecked, it could render even this cold land too chilly for life to survive. The Hunter was tasked to slay it. As the Hunter faced down the massive White God, one thought crossed their minds: "Not this time."
this is the monster hunter i've grown to love. I started in world, sure. I tried rise, said fuck no, and went backward in the franchise. Best decision of my life. GU, then 4U, then 3U. Throughout all that, I keep coming back to this song when I want to relax. The tambourine, the congas, the vibraphone, the maracas, all the percussion is just a wave of calm. 100,000,000/10 village music. Rise couldn't beat this one track if it tried.
If i were alone, i could probably cry, this is too nostalgic when i played FU in my PSP so long ago, so long, this new version is made specifically for that, to make remember old hunters from where they came from, and to remember those times like the best ones
@@NoahHalfSquid mhfu was great and challenging and rise also has challenge to it but Doesn't hit the same as it did back at home Pokke village I haven't gotten far in the game when I first started playing at 4 I think but I kept playing got better then 10 I got to urgent hunt khezu and then I picked it back up at 12 beat khezu and then my psp gave out finally now I'm 15 rest in peace and thanks for the good memories psp go
@@NoahHalfSquid 11 months and yeh i'm gonna answer this, everyone is bussy playing Rise because, is the new monster Hunter, how much people you see playing the old mario when Odyssey came out? Rise have it's good things, because it's not challenging it doesn't mean it's bad, tryhard :/ And i said tryhard, don't take it as an offense since i'm the same, i mean, i played and i liked too a lot MHFU and all of them up to MHGU, and Rise Sunbreak too, i know, it does change a lot, eve from FU to GU, and to me, this theme brings me back to my childhood 10 years ago And i like Rain World, c'mon, tryhard goes more for me but ok, the point is. What we were talking about?
